Smoked salmon on granary bread with salted butter and rocket salad to start

Turkey crown (cooked by my mum the day before)
Beef fillet
Potato dauphinois
Roast potatoes
Paxo stuffing with chestnuts in
Roast parsnips
Carrots
Sprouts
Cabbage
Yorkshire puddings

No idea about pudding - it's not my responsibility 😀

We do Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. We can then eat leftovers and chutney/ cheese/ cake/ chocolate etc on Christmas Day. We have a good breakfast on Christmas Day of crossiants, pastries, bacon sandwiches for visitors. I like it because it's so much easier. Means I can spend time with the kids and visitors without breaking my neck and burning the dinner.
Leftovers are always yummy!

Pear and rockfort salad or prawns and smoked Salmon (choice)

We'll be having turkey this year but a decent free range crown stuffed with homemade apricot and chestnut stuffing. A Christmas ham (glaced but undecided).

Mustard glanced parsnips
Sprouts with pancetta
Orange glazed carrots
Braised red cabbage
Roast potatoes

The usual sausage meat/onions
Pigs in blankets
Homemade Bread sauce
Homemade Cranberry sauce
Another stuffing

Pudding undecided. Trifle, Christmas pudding ice cream or Christmas cheesecake (dark choc ginger biscuit base, cherry and kirsch top).

No starter - get tucked straight into main which is:-

Three bird roast
Roasted potatoes
Stuffing
Sprouts
Maple syrup roasted parsnips,
Carrots
Spiced red cabbage
Pigs in blankets
Homemade gravy

Pudding might not happen until later but probably not a Christmas pud as it's a bit heavy after such a big main meal.

We are having prawns and smoked salmon for starters.

Then probably turkey and pork/ham
Sprouts with bacon
Carrots
Parsnips
Roast potatoes or dauphinoise if I can be bothered lol.
Yorkshire pudding
Gravy

Then Xmas pudding or some alternative for the people who don't like Xmas pudding.

Doing Christmas day at our house this year - there will be 11 of us altogether so I'm panicking slightly but hoping SIL and my Dad will cook/prep something before they come to make it easier!

I am working till 14.50, so when I get home I will just cook what DH has prepared, it will be just the 2 of us, or maybe DSS (28) will be there

Turkey
Beef
Roast Potatoes
Stuffing - sage & onion and sausage meat mixed
Yorkshires
Roast Parsnips
Veg - yet to be agreed
Pigs in blankets
Gravy

Pudding will be pavlova or ice cream for me, and a single portion christmas pudding for DH

Other than a quick bite before I leave for work the above is likely all i will have - though there will be food at work that we have brought in but it depends on how busy we are as to how much we can snaffle

For supper it will be leftovers - especially leftover roast potatoes

Boxing day is my favourite day - snacky/buffet bits and all the family over Smile
