Eckythump - where did you get the beer/gin from. I like the sound of that.

Bambooshoots14 · 15/11/2015 14:31

Thanks for the tip telephone the jaeger outlet has flash sale and extra 25% off everything. Just got dh a tie and belt for Christmas for £50 Smile

Chocolateteabag · 15/11/2015 14:33

I'm getting mine a Piano and a block of lessons

The piano is £££ but looking at it as a family present for the DC's to be made to play when they are older.

I have given DH and DBros the following in the past:
Whittling Book (£6-8ish) and set of whittling knives (£8ih on amazon)
Make your own sausages 3 hour course
Whiskey tasting
Wine tasting
Wild mushroom spotting walk/talk thing
Ray Mears experience (was v£££ so in with other siblings and parents for DBro)

Heyheyheygoodbye · 15/11/2015 14:36

DH is a Christmas baby so for his birthday he's having expansion packs for a game he likes.

For Christmas:
Crate of his favourite posh cider
Thing to bake Camembert in
Books
Fancy chocs and sweeties
Star Wars PJs
Fancy salt - he loves to cook
An ornament he saw and liked and I went back and got it [santa]

ManicPixieDream - DH has a portable record player, he loves it, it's currently in the kitchen Smile
I'll also keep popping into the charity shops to pick up vinyl he might like.

EllieJayJay · 15/11/2015 14:53

Looking for ideas too, I love the lady who is getting her DH a crinkle chip cutter because Jamie Oliver has one

The things my DP has in a cupboard or in the garage because somebody famous had them... But this chip cutter sounds amazing so I'm off to google it for me :)

Loads of lovely ideas here - am now feeling more confident on the gift purchases :) thank you op for the post

Chocolateteabag · 15/11/2015 15:03

Bamboo - it's this one on Amazon

Little Book of Whittling, The (Woodcarving Illustrated Books) Paperback – 25 Jan 2013 by Chris Lubkemann (Author)

Bambooshoots14 · 15/11/2015 15:11

Thank you chocolate

I've also just bought dh a leather briefcase/ man bag as the one he has was given to me for free by a client has fallen apart. There were so many similar ones to choose from so I hope I got one he likes as it was in the sale

Greaterthanthesumoftheparts · 15/11/2015 15:14

DP will has a leaf blower sucker thing for the garden, and I've ordered a Hugo boss shirt since he's starting a new job on December first and needs some posher clothes. Pyjamas. And he really wants a onesie so he might also get that as a gift from DSS.

Shinyshoes2 · 15/11/2015 15:26

A tissot watch
Davidoff coolwater
Pair of plimsol / pumps
Am toying with an expensive bottle of whiskey ( but I want it as an investment not to drink )

blueandgreendots · 15/11/2015 15:43

Saving all our cash for an extension so I set a £20 limit for DH and I gifts for each other. I've got him a tin mug, a millennium falcon bottle opener key ring and am going to get some scratch cards (to win us a million Hmm)

SpikeWithoutASoul · 15/11/2015 15:54

Reading through all these really lovely ideas and wishing I had a DH who would like any of them! Other than the beer, he wouldn't want any of it.

He plays guitar but would hate a guitar mug, guitar shaped bottle opener etc type gifts and I can't afford a new guitar! He doesn't cook or play any sports; he only reads the newspaper; doesn't play computer games of any sort; has a nice watch, phone, tablet, Fitbit etc; buys his own toiletries and aftershave as they are needed and only drinks beer.

Hmmm. Not only am I wondering what to get him; now I'm wondering why I married him! Grin

fitzbilly · 15/11/2015 16:03

A new surfboard

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/11/2015 16:05

Nothing.

We're going on holiday instead.

We need no more stuff, so sunshine instead for us.
