So I want to do a christmas eve box for my son who will be 16m at Christmas. What can I put in it... So far on my list I have pjs... Thats it. lol

Any suggestions are more than welcome - I am a novice in the children's christmas department!

(To complicate a little he is also dairy free)

Mine like chocolate spoons to stir into hot milk. This year we have posh ones from Bruges.

DS just gets new pjs (well a onesie) and a lush bath bomb. We have plenty of Christmas books that tbh we read all year round (although I may have to get that pirate book!) and we have a Christmas Eve party so he gets more than enough sweets and stuff. I may do Christmas mugs and hot chocolate for all the cousins and DS though as 'party favours'. We watch all the films on sky movies too so no need for a dvd.

I have got my little girl

pjs
santa inflatable chair (for when she opens her pressies the next day)
nodding reindeer
Christmas pencils
sticker book
book
snowman buuble bath
Christmas hair clips

most of that is just so she has something to keep her busy so I can get on with jobs during the day

Hot water bottle

Glitter bath bomb
Hot chocolate spoon
Jelly santas
Christmas cookie

DD was a bit older before we started the Christmas Eve box - maybe 3? For that small, I'd say PJs, the stocking, and a bedtime story (we had Twas the Night Before Christmas on DD's 1st Christmas Eve, and every one since, but a lot of other Christmas books have been added since to choose another to follow it with).

As your DS gets older and understands, add in a bath bomb or bubbles, hot chocolate or maybe marshmallows for on top of hot milk, maybe a new toothbrush.

DD's now (she's about to turn 10) includes:
New: Lush bath bomb, PJs, naice hot choc and marshmallows, a chocolate figure.
Returning every year: Stocking, TTNBC book, Snowman cover hot water bottle.
(DH and I get new PJs and hot choc as well, I get a bath bomb while DH gets nice shower gel, and my "Nightmare Before Christmas" slippersocks usually sneak their way in too!! And we put the Christmas Candle in as well, for the youngest in the household to light.)

Search on Amazon for 'Santa is coming to (and then your town/city)'. We have one and it's really, really lovely, with amazing illustration of the local area. They also have colouring books of areas too. It's a lovely thing to bring out every year.

baldrick I have one of those books too. We read it every year.
