What do you do about presents for Nursery staff?

DS attends a lovely and relatively small nursery with 5 full time members of staff and 2 part time (who I don't see as they work the middle of the day to cover lunches).

I'd like to buy gifts for the 2 who work in the baby room with DS plus the manager as she has a lot to do with him and is lovely. Is it ok to do that and buy a box of chocolates for the staff room for everyone? Usually I wouldn't feel bad about not buying for everyone but it's a small team so it feels like I should buy for them all.

I seem to remember getting something similar to this once when I wanted to get the staff at preschool a gift. I think there are similar around for coffee or tea.

That's a good idea, I'm sure that would go down well.

I sometimes send in a tin of naice M&S Christmas biscuits a week or so before the end of term for the staffroom.

I get a small gift for DD key worker and a box or biscuits/chocolate for the room staff

Of course that is more than fine.

You have to work on the basis that the other staff get from their own keychildren, or everyone would buy for absolutely everyone, which is a bitdadt.

Oh no, is this a *thing? We've just started nursery and it's a small one so now feel like I have to do that. Bloody Christmas! Humbug due to being broke.

Last year they got a tub of celebrations, this year they are getting a tin of M&S shortbread. If I bought a pressie for DS's care worker, I'd fell I'd have to buy for them all as gets on so well with all of them!

Nikitasol I don't know that everyone does it at all and assuming that nursery staff think the same way as the teachers that post on these threads they all say their preference is for a card with a nice message of thanks rather than for gifts so please don't worry.

Nursery really have gone above and beyond for DS and our family during his cancer treatment and I want to say thank you.

I'm sending in a box of chocolate orange segsations, a week before Christmas. DD1 has also made some tree decorations (those printed wooden ones you colour in), and has chosen one to give to her key worker, and one for the nursery manager.
