dh and fil are always going on that the girls get too many. It's partly cos I wrap things up seperately, buy quite a few small and cheap things (eg new felt tips for ?1), and get them things they'd be getting anyway (like new pyjamas). so out of interest I just counted up - including everything right down to the chocolate coins in their stockings. I reckon when I;ve finished we'll be looking at

pressies from FC - probably about 10
pressies from us - 2
one from each of 3 gps, and 6 uncles/aunts/ cousins

total = 21

how do we compare?

I'm embarrassed to say that DD's have got about 30 pressies each all from Father Christmas. We don't buy them pressies from us. A lot of them are tiddly things like chocolate coins, cheap crayons, bubbles etc.

Ds Has about 22 pressies (about £200 includes big pressies and small) from FC and then hes got about 15 from my mum Then he will have about 10 from other relatives.

I love to get loads of pressies whether they be big or stocking fillers.

I have never counted but not a lot, dd "wants a barbie horsey, that's all" she insists, I want to get her more, and suggested santa might want to bring her some other things, but she was not giving her consent to this.... I can't decide whether to say presents from others are from them or santa? my brother, dad and mum have got her a toy baby grand piano from elc, which is a big present, but I reckon apart from a few stocking fillers she probably gets 15 presents max

From FC - 2
From us - lots of little things which I wrap seperately, probably 15 maybe

She then gets presents (1 or 2, sometimes more wrapped gifts) from 2 sets of grandparents, uncle, auntie, another uncle/aunt, 3 sets of great grandparents, great aunt and a normally gets 2 or 3 vouchers from other relatives.

And then presents from family friends - another 4 or 5.

No idea on total but loads! DD is only child on my side, and there's only 2 on DH's side - so not loads of children to buy for and people often spend a bit more, as they like buying for LOs for a change.
