Am thinking of gettin it for DS1, but not sure if he's too old for the junior version. Does anyone have it, could they advise please?

An 8 year old could probably manage the adult one but would need some help (or some other 8 year olds to play against!). Dd (also 8) can do it now but she wouldn't be able to win against anyone who actually tried. I haven't tried the junior one but my guess is he'd outgrow it quite soon. We worked as pairs with lots of whispering while dd learnt how to play

I haven't seen the junior one, but dd1 and ds1 have played the standard one successfully - ds1 before he could read (I made him up special sheets with pictures/colours).

Thanks tooticky. I have looked at the older one a few times, but haven't seen the younger one at all, so couldn't compare. he will be 9 in mrach so i will get him the older one..

Sorry tamum, didn't see your post as i was replying . I think we would probably have to play in pairs, especially if DS2, who is 6 wanted to play

santasaltire · 07/12/2006 22:26

Thanks Cod, I'm off to tesco at the weekend (PIL coming up for the day ) so will get it, saved me £4.00 postage as well. I would have spent more on the website to justify the postage!
