Have spent ages choosing stuff in Thorntons 3 for 2, only to have a minuscule discount in my basket. It doesn't seem to work the way the Boots one does, grouping items, it just takes the tiniest amounts off - so if you buy 6 boxes of choc at a tenner each, and then three one pound bags, it's the one pound ones that are free. Grrr.

deepblue · 06/11/2015 18:19

KatieMoragsMum I ordered a power bank for DH from bang good a few weeks ago. It was shipped from the UK surprisingly and all seems fine, haven't used the product yet tho as it will be one of his gifts. I'd be happy to order from them again. Hth

VaJayJay · 06/11/2015 18:21

I'm trying to order Olaf and another soft toy but the price is not reducing to £10 even when I put Olaf in my basket first and make sure the second toy is cheaper. Can anybody advise if I'm doing it wrong.

Thank you Smile

ChillyChillyIcebat · 06/11/2015 18:32

KatieMoragsMum I've ordered from bangood too some bits and pieces including this cute looking make your own UP house in an ornament type thing house thing

Nothing arrived yet, but then it's on a slow boat from china.

TobleroneBoo · 06/11/2015 18:37

Glad it benefited someone silver
Any Facebook users might want to add Extreme couponing and freebies ( or something similar)

They find a lot of bargains but I don't tend to take much notice of the toys and stuff

Save nearly £10 on the Ben and Holly Thistle Castle playset, down to £15.47

Ben and Holly

Doc McStuffins Get Better Talking Mobile Clinic, reduced by over £16 to £43.97! It looks tiny in the pic but is in fact life sized with lots of features

Doc McStuffins

WindTheFrog · 06/11/2015 19:06

TheDrsDoc I did the same thing for DH last year and got him a big leg of Jamon, a few tapas dishes then visited our local deli on Xmas Eve and picked up loads of bits. We love chorizo and thyme fougasse with tapas so I bought all the ingredients for that. It went down a treat and i got to eat it all with him over Xmas when we couldn't be bothered cooking.

TrollTheRespawnJeremy · 06/11/2015 19:07

Anyone know of any deals on the zippy 3 wheeled scooters?

SomethingOfTheNight · 06/11/2015 19:24

Sorry to ask this again but....

Could I have some advice please re portable music players for 10yr olds? Are you able to download cds that we already have onto a memory stick for them to play and share on them? I don't want to have to purchase a mountain of mp3 versions of stuff we already have on cdsConfused

I am rubbish at this stuff

KatieMoragsMum · 06/11/2015 19:24

Thank you DeepBlue and ChillyChilly. I'd never heard of them before, lots of cheap bits and pieces.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 06/11/2015 19:33

Does anyone know of a bargin wicker shopping basket on wheels. My granny helps with DS even though she is caring for my granda who has cancer and dementia. I think she'd love one but they are pretty expensive!

ipswichwitch · 06/11/2015 19:35

Vertbaudet code:
5198 to get up to 40% off the winter edit (not sure what's included there) and 20% off full price items

I never buy from them unless I have a code, but their stuff is lovely, and the boys trousers nigh on indestructible (as both my DS's have proven!)

ReluctantCamper · 06/11/2015 19:36

Had a camelcamelcamel alert, Duplo royal castle down to £27.73 (rrp £50). Best ever price according to CCC.

Have finished buying for Ds2 must not twitch .

Iggi999 · 06/11/2015 19:37

Somethingofthenight - I've only ever bought iPods (now just use phones) and there I would put my CDs onto iTunes using a computer and then transfer them to the iPod.

ipswichwitch · 06/11/2015 19:39

LittleMissGreen · 06/11/2015 20:09

Mwah ha ha. DS has just found the nutella jar which should have a code to get a personalised label. He came in in a massive strop because now he can't get a jar with his name on as I have thrown the bit he needs away Grin.

crispytruffle · 06/11/2015 20:13

Wow thanks SO MUCH for the Jaeger info, just bought lots of shirts, two suits for DH and a handbag, purse and scarf! VERY HAPPY!

waitrosefizz · 06/11/2015 20:15

Thanks MTWTFSS, I didn't have a clue about that Wine

Hexenbeast · 06/11/2015 20:19

Ha ha ha.... DD also spotted the 2 jars I bought (one for her and her sister's stockings) and said that she wanted to use the code.

DH told her she could if she registered it with her email (she hasn't got one) and filled in the forms herself.

THat's too much like hard work for her, so she decided against it.

I should have 2 labels on the way. :)
