thanks Mipe - will go and have another look- my very tall DD likes long t shirts!

JessesGirl · 07/11/2015 16:15

Badders did you have to get a code or anything in store for the Next money off to work or did you just create a new account?

HortonWho · 07/11/2015 16:19

Posted on another tread by mistake so reposting ...

If anyone has a Secret Santa challenge of creative gifts for a pound, I saw this Snowman poop on pininterest. Tic-tacks with a poem "Heard you've been naughty so here's the scoop- all you get from christmas is snowman poop"

Would also be funny for a parent with Frozen-mad kids and you stuck a picture of Olaf on front... May just do that for DH... Our kids will think it's hilarious.

Smyths have a huge sale on in store plus discounts depending on spend amount (£6 odd £50 and £12 off £100)

They had zoomer puppies half price at £19.99, doh Vinci sets reduced from £12.50 to £5. Too many bargains to mention plus mine had pie face in stock.

Mipe · 07/11/2015 16:24

Bookbook in that case I would also recommend Hema tshirts, the normal length are good for me at 6'1 and they also have extra long ones for only £8 Smile.

bookbook · 07/11/2015 16:26

OK - I need the collective MN wisdom - We are buying an Xbox One for DS and are looking for the cheapest bundle for the console and preferably Fifa 16 and then the cheapest option for a 2nd controller too. Any ideas on whether these kinds of things come up on Black Friday deals? (DS is paying for half of it himself hence why it is even more important to get the best possible deal as he has worked so hard to save up his money and I want him to get the most for it.)

We are keeping an eye on Amazon, Smyths, Game etc but I don't know enough about these things to know if they are the kinds of things that just aren't reduced much, or if you will get a great deal if you watch carefully.

The bundles seem to be around about £290 at the minute and then £4ish for the 2nd controller - I don't know if we're likely to get it cheaper than that or not.

Any MN wisdom?

dayslikethis · 07/11/2015 16:48

That should be £40ish - NOT £4 for the controller!

happsymum · 07/11/2015 17:12

30% off slim photo canvas at snapfish with code SLIM30 may be nice for grandparents gift? Valid till 30th Nov

lazzaroo · 07/11/2015 17:15

It's probably been said before, but word of warning on the Amazon Lego prices. They put RRP prices high. The train is a bargain at £58 but it is selling elsewhere for £65-70. Including tesco for those with vouchers.

Having said that, they currently have the Scooby doo Lego lighthouse for £30, which is around £10 less. It's just always worth a quick google before believing their 'bargains'!

There's was a link on a previous thread to a website which sold little items such as the really useful tins. - but I can't remember the site - does it ring any bells with anyone?

cheapandcheerful · 07/11/2015 18:06

Can't remember who was after Coca-Cola pyjamas, but they had them in Primark in London today. Also lots of great stocking bits in Tiger - little jigsaws, craft stuff etc for a quid.

crispytruffle · 07/11/2015 18:50

The Malibu house is a great price. I got this for my daughter last year and it is massive with lots of accessories. She still loves it.

Katz · 07/11/2015 19:05
