Been quite a few posts about Teacher presents: All my teacher friends and myself all agree that the best present ever is a handmade card with a lovely message in it....you don't need to spend money at all, as we do get paid!

Oh and nice stationary if you really want to
All teachers go mad for stationary!

WindTheFrog · 06/11/2015 22:33

Any ideas what to get a 4 year old girl? It's a friends little girl, who said she had something for DS so now I have to get something. Ideally about a fiver but looks more?

AdmiralCLingus · 06/11/2015 22:39

Oh dear I've made a second thread title Blush I'm on form this year with my typos!!!

Can't believe you're nearly 300 posts in to a new thread and I've only been away for a day!

I'm actually almost done. The only thing I need to buy is an amazon voucher for exfil and that's it! I'm tempted to start wrapping! Still can't keep away from here though... Just in case Grin

moopymoodle · 06/11/2015 22:40

Bloks Advent calenders, the ones compatable with lego are £5 in Wilkinson's!
Also half price on lots of toys too although some of them don't seem too good of a bargain to me!!

I also ordered an Avengers in line scooter and a Frozen in line scooter off Hot Deal Spy tonight. Got both delivered for just under £25. Pleased with that as last time I looked in Smyths they was nearly £25 each!!

Also thankyou to the person who posted the Jaeger find.. treat the hubby to a few bits :)

mrslebon · 06/11/2015 22:53

@Littlemousewithcloggson - Matalan have plain brown wrapping paper this year.

girlsyearapart · 06/11/2015 22:56

Thanks for the vertbaudet code just got some lovely dresses for two of the girls and tops for dsSmile

ClaraLane · 06/11/2015 22:59

Not sure if anyone has any clothes to buy but Tesco F&F have £10 off a £50 spend, £15 off a £75 spend and I think £20 off a £100 spend. You can also use your doubled-up vouchers there too but I'm not 100% sure if you can use clubcard vouchers plus the codes. I've just treated myself to some new boots and bought a few baby outfits for a friend to get up to £75 Grin

Bit of an odd one, but Bacon to Your Door!
Weekly bacon deliveries from Cure and Simple.
If you use my referral code (fxyktm) you get £2 off and I my daughter will get a free packet Xmas Grin

Strawberryfield12 · 06/11/2015 23:26

windthefrog few months ago bought first sewing kit for friends daughter's 5th birthday. She was over the moon. Apparently week before she had shown mum how she could pull the thread through the eye of the needle, so the timing worked out perfect. It was from Amazon around £7, there were also first knitting etc kits.

primitivemom · 07/11/2015 00:57

Place marking, thanks Reastie Thanks

woodwaj · 07/11/2015 01:45

fueled I don't know about bargain but have you tried lakeland?

Romcom · 07/11/2015 06:32

winewolfhowls thanks for that, I have been feeling tight after reading this thread at only buying something quite cheap for DS's teacher (even though she is fab!). I'll add a handmade card from DS to it.

Also - what can I buy cheaply on not on the high street to get the 15% voucher for my new handbag Any thoughts? Grin

Reastie · 07/11/2015 06:58

Notso glad you got a refund. Quite satisying isn't it?!

Neeko · 07/11/2015 07:38

windthefrog What about a busy book? Lots of different styles available and only £5 from Asda. Think home bargains do them too.

Strawberryfield12 · 07/11/2015 07:50

romcom personalised (or not) socks? There are some personalised awesome daddy socks DH is getting from DD on his birthday.

MamaTeeTee · 07/11/2015 07:53

I bought the paw patroller from smyths yesterday for 59.99 but I used the £6 off code so got it for 53.99 which is still madly overpriced for what it is but a bit more acceptable. DS and DD are both desperate for it and they specifically wrote on their Christmas list "we'd both like a paw patroller to share and some of the little cars so we can play together". Cuties.

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 07/11/2015 08:15

10% off at keepitpersonal.co.uk with code VIP101

It says it's 'just for me' but I somehow doubt that!

did anyone else do the living social snap fish photo book deal? I'm very confused as to how I redeem it, I have a code... But I can't get it to work :/

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 07/11/2015 08:17

I've also managed to get some pretty good deals on aftershave on all beauty.com and remember to go through topcashback

AuditAngel · 07/11/2015 08:32

A use once code (I think one use) for Sweaty Betty for 15% off plus free delivery SBCLTXB54

Hush free delivery and returns code WINTER15

waitrosefizz · 07/11/2015 08:36

ToddlerTantrums · 07/11/2015 09:19

Does anyone know if there is going to be 3 for 2 of toys r us games this year? They usually do.

Polkadot1974 · 07/11/2015 09:20
