So many different models, which one to get? Are they worth it? Saw a tiny Furreal 'walking horse' on TKMaxx the other day at £12; are the ones in the shops at around £25 different or pretty much the same thing? DC are 3... would they be too young for them?

Thanks

My DD has had a fur real something each birthday and Christmas since she was two as she is animal mad, we have Daisy the cat, Lucy the dog, a rabbit and a small unicorn. This Christmas she is getting blu blu the baby Dolphin (not fur real brand but same kinda thing) I suspect for her 5th birthday I will succumb to the new unicorn that has recently been released. They go great with the vet tent from Argos and a Drs kit :)

Thank you. Mine are not animal crazy but do like seeing little dogs when out and about.... I love the idea of a vet kit to look after them, thank you

no experience with the furreal toys but theres a doc mcstuffins vet set :)

also argos have their own brand of interactive animals, no idea what they are like but i think they were cheaper.

My DD loves the idea of interactive animal toys, but unfortunately we've found they don't really live up to the hype.

Lucy the puppy was infuriatingly hard to get to do anything. No adult or child could make her do things, and then she'd randomly start doing stuff of her own accord. Very frustrating.

There was another dog that would walk on a leash, that was more reliable than Lucy, but had the slowest walk ever, so the novelty wore off of that one pretty fast.

The only one that got played with for a decent amount of time was an Animagic horse that you could feed a bottle to, and that cost about a tenner in Argos. That is still loved and played with, whilst the more expensive things are long gone.

Thank you so much, really useful info and lots to think about. Will check out the Animagic horse.

Thanks
