What are you buying your DH? Need help!

Bought a molecular gastronomy set for his birthday and that was a big hit. Struggling to think of something he hasn't already got, back up is aftershave which is a bit boring...

My husband is difficult to buy for. He never seems to lust after frivolous things the way I do. If I ask him what he'd like, he shrugs and says either cuff links or socks every single sodding birthday and Christmas for the last 6 years

For his last birthday, I got him a vw camper Lego set (his family used to own a camper) and tickets for a tour of HMS Belfast - both went down very well, and this Christmas I've bought him a dash cam for the car, some fancy gin, and obligatory pants and socks

P.S have you thought about getting your husband one of those 'feed the penguin' experiences? Dependant on his view of zoos, of course.

I am currently a bit lost for ideas, probably four new (matching ) panniers for our cycle tours planned in 2016 which is a bit of a cop out because we would buy ourselves those anyway and he probably doesn't think that anything needs to match (we have got several sets) , a merino bike top, a Folio Society book on Feynman.

He has got long arms and struggles to find knitwear to fit properly at times. I know that he admires a particular cardigan that J Crew have sold out of in tall sizes so I might see about getting one knitted for him (too big for me to complete before I expire).

Oh, and the obligatory Lego Architecture kit. I thought I might get him a t shirt from the place that does periodic table t shirts .... he will wear it in bed at least.

That is all I can think of right now.

If he likes sketching, how about a 3D pen so he can draw in three dimensions?

We always buy each other something that really we both need or is for the house! We're not big on gifts...this year im getting him (us) a new SatNav

I think I'm going to do a homemade snack & booze 'subscription' box, so every month in 2016 I'll put together a box of snacks and bits and pieces from a particular country. That's the idea anyway, but I might switch to every other month and do a giant sized box with double the budget.

Mine is into cooking in a big way and wants a stovetop smoker, or a smoking gun. May be an idea?

My DH has requested a subscription to the Rough Trade album of the month thing (i just nod and agree, he's a bit of a vinyl addict)
History books (i ask for a list so I don't get stuff he already has)

I usually make my DH a huge hamper of craft ales and buy a few books too. On top of that I try to find a few unusual unexpected gifts - last year I bought him a genuine Roman coin (he's a history but, like me) and this year I've tracked down a selection of his favourite childhood toys for nostalgia purposes.

Maybe an experience type gift where he learns to make cocktails would be a fun idea? Or some products specifically for beard care? I've seen them advertised but I'm buggered if I can remember what they're called, sorry!

if he likes hot sauce try Dr Burnoriums Hot Sauce Emporium, they have a website and DH loves their sauces, he's getting a few for his christmas :) They have really really hot ones (they do snacks too) here

Pretty much the same as every year, probably:
A new jumper (he hardly ever buys clothes, so a new jumper is pretty much obligatory each year to save him fro looking like Steptoe)

Beer, brandy, mustard, 'posh' pickles
Some books

My list so far is: cashmere zip through hoody, PlayStation or camera, smart phone projector, best TT races DVD. He will probably get new socks and boxers.

Just ordered DH Lego Millenium Falcon as a joint present with 8 year old DD. More for her than him but as she already has Lego Elves castle as main present couldn't justify making it just for her.

We have bought concert tickets for each other - also bought him a new phone as his is past it.

Whats budget? If you can afford it, a specialist cookery course would be great! well thats what i want anyway Maybe a fish-based course so he can cook his catch?

Not on the high street have some beard care stuff - hops based if your dh likes beer flavoured stuff.
