scrappydappydoo Kinetic and moon sand they are not quite the same thing moon sand is more messy, harder to clean up and doesn't really move like kinetic sand. DD loves her kientic sand and it's easy to clean up, we use one of those big cement mixing trays. We have KineticSand brand and Motion Sand (cheaper), and prefer the kinetic, it feels softer and less 'sandy' in the hand.
