Oh, also in WHSmith, the "That's Not My..." books gift sets are 2 in a pack for a fiver. A pretty decent price compared to Amazon, I have seen the odd one pop up in Morrisons for £2.50 each now and again.

IsaJess · 29/10/2015 20:14

Dd1 has decided she's desperate for a fabric memo board. Anyone know where I can get a bargainous one?
(Have looked on ebay - seem to be £30-35 for a 60x40cm one)
TIA Smile

Elvish · 29/10/2015 20:16

So, I resisted the gum ball machines but accidentally twitched and have a Dyson Blush

Do I really want it? Is it that much of a bargain? Should I take it back and save £100 all the other twitches I will inevitably have between now and Christmas?!?

Elvish · 29/10/2015 20:17

Isa I got DD one from ikea, can't remember how much but it would have been quite cheap.

Elvish · 29/10/2015 20:20

here you go £12

ThatsNotMyHouseItIsTooClean · 29/10/2015 20:30

I have decided that I am going to succumb and get Xmas bedding for my bed this year. My only problem is that we have a super king duvet and not that many places sell super king bedding. I know JL, M&S and Next do but I don't love any of their Xmas bedding and it's £££. Any suggestions for other retailers who sell super king bedding?
sofa thank you for the Lakeland code but, having thought about the thing I was going to get a bit more, I'm not goinv to grt it so won't use the code. Do you want to see if someone else can use it?
watch I think I spotted that Argos had nutribullets down to £75 (so £25ish off).
If anyone wants Roald Dahl bedding, M&Co sell it and currently have 25%off. I think that they had Maulds & Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.

TheFairyCaravan · 29/10/2015 20:41

I don't know if they're still a thing for teens, but TK Maxx online have Ice watches for £19.99-£29.99 depending on colour and Superdry watches for £29.99.

IsaJess · 29/10/2015 20:44

Thanks Elvish Smile
I think a trip to Ikea is in order - any excuse lol

daddykyller · 29/10/2015 20:51

HortonWho · 29/10/2015 20:53

Random find of an owl biscuit jar, reduced from £28 to 8.40 at
House of Fraser

gladyoucame · 29/10/2015 20:53

Thanks for the heads up re tesco Hudl, I had no idea. DS2 was going to get one for his 6th birthday just before Christmas so I now need to rethink that. He was desperate for the same as his older brother who got one for his 7th birthday in May. Are the rumours re Lego shortage true too?

Fox28 · 29/10/2015 21:06

Dot com gift shop have some nice things in their sale at the moment.

They have these Christmassy paper chains for £1.95 (they have other designs too)

This set of 6 bird gift tags for 39p Shock

And this set of 3 Christmas gift boxes for £1.50

There's loads of other lovely bits too. If you're on their mailing list you get free delivery for orders over £10 I didn't order 12 packs of the gift tags to get my order to £10. Oh no, not me

mrslebon · 29/10/2015 21:07

Thanks d270r0 - just ordered another Tasting Club selection for £6.95. This one is for me and DH! For those not sure where to look when you log back in, go to Manage my Selections and you'll find the £6.95 boxes there.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 29/10/2015 21:15

I've just been looking to see when Tesco do their offer on selection boxes and it looks like it's usually third week in November. I need a million this year (slight exaggeration)

I had actually decided to buy them all gum ball machines instead - I guess you lot buying them all solved that one!

AdmiralCLingus · 29/10/2015 21:15

Whoever was looking for the nutribullet boots have them down to £69.99 and if you buy before midnight youll get a tenners worth of points on your card

EmGee · 29/10/2015 21:18

FeelingSmurfy · 29/10/2015 21:19

Not technically Christmas, but could win you some £ in time for Christmas

was.freepostcodelottery.com/?ref=73615 (this would get me about 10p extra if I ever win)

Just checking every day and if you see your postcode then you win the money. It's £150 for the daily draw (and it adds up until someone claims) £20 for mini draw, £10 for the stackpot and £75 (this also adds up until claimed) for survey draw

Not long after i told my friend, one of them won it (was only £40 a day at that point so only won £40) was paid the same day, so it really could help with Christmas

Apologies if this shouldn't be there but I think it would really help with buying all of the stuff that you didn't know you needed until you saw it in here Wink

FeelingSmurfy · 29/10/2015 21:20

www.freepostcodelottery.com/?ref=73615

Grrr autocorrect!

EmGee · 29/10/2015 21:27

I've just managed to spend 200 quid at Boots but got 30 pounds worth of free points for my trouble. I was very tempted to get a Philips Sonicare Diamondclean as less than half RRP. Still un peu pricey at 114.00 but it might make a good present?

HortonWho · 29/10/2015 21:29

Fox - those bird tags are fab if you turn the string inside out, so it ties in the back instead of the front. I bought them earlier in the year and so far, I've used mine at
1/ Easter: tie them to a few branches popped into 2/ Summer: wrapped cutlery in a napkin and tied the bird tags around to make a makeshift "napkin ring" - great for outoodoor dinners/bbqs

christmasiscoming15 · 29/10/2015 21:32

Usually just lurking, but wanted to post as I just got some real bargains on vertbaudet, £15 off a £30 spend with code 4760 or 4670, if you are a new customer, valid on sale items too and includes free delivery.

Apologies if already been mentioned, thread moving so fast not always seeing it all.

Thanks everyone for sharing, I have some lovely Molton brown stuff.

Ratbagcatbag · 29/10/2015 21:35

DeathStar we upgraded to the Xbox one this year but due to the million games dh has got he linked the Xbox 360 to the Xbox one. (Some cable somewhere) which means he can still play the 360 games on the 360 without having to unplug stuff in the back of TV.

Mama1980 - do I recognise you from the mn April 13'er thread?? :)

RJnomaaaaaargh · 29/10/2015 21:44

Oh I'm an idiot.

Ordered dd2 a coat from Vertbaudet. Wondered why I hadn't heard about it being delivered. Searched snd couldn't find an email.

Tried to log in and couldn't. Decided for some reason I hadn't finished the purchase so created the account all over again and bought the jacket.

Then of course I get an email on my OTHER email account to tell me the jacket is being delivered Confused

strawberrypenguin · 29/10/2015 21:50

Character.com pjs are fairly good quality finlaggan I'd say their sizing is relatively accurate. My just turned 4yo skinny DS is currently wearing their 4-5 and the trousers are staying up! He's got a reasonable amount of growth room in the arms and legs without being swamped.
