Love that duvet Moosy Moo but it says sold out

I8toys · 29/10/2015 12:46

Thanks Penguito - ordered the gumball machines for £4 - great for a stocking filler

LibidinousSwine · 29/10/2015 12:49

Another quick heads up for anyone tempted by the Abercrombie & Fitch clearance I posted about a few days ago. My order just arrived and is great, but I could have done with going up a size for DS. Wondering how much it would cost for me to exchange I realised that returns are £9 Shock

fourquenelles · 29/10/2015 12:56

Coming out of the Christmas lurkers cupboard to say my parcel from dot.com arrived today. Lots of hamper fillers for my DSSs and their partners for.......£16 less a penny! Really good quality too - not cheap looking by any stretch. Thank you all.

ja9r · 29/10/2015 12:58

Gumball machine is a fab bargain and will be a fab addition on Christmas morning! Thank you!

AllThatGlistensIs · 29/10/2015 13:30

Oh huge thanks and Flowers to the posters re. the Lenovo tablets info, will definitely go for them instead now I think.

Did Tesco say why they've discontinued them?

Just waiting (impatiently) for the release date for the iPad pro. I want to be finished and then I can start my wrapping!

PamelaEwing · 29/10/2015 13:43

Was in Waitrose earlier and the Quality Street tubs are £3.60 if you scan your MyWaitrose card at checkout (otherwise £4)

trixymalixy · 29/10/2015 13:43

My kids are going to love those gumball machines, I'd been looking for some baragain ones for a while, thanks!!

woodwaj · 29/10/2015 13:55

I can't find a reason to buy the gumball machines!

Don't forget to stock up on coins for those that have bought them Wink

WhirlwindHugs · 29/10/2015 13:59

Same here woodwaj! Great bargain though.

On the paw patrol hunt I ended up ordering this scooter from asda: paw patrol scooter it's 20 pounds and micro scooter style with the wheels at the front so hopefully decent value.
Also got some figures which were not a bargain but it's DD2s birthday money I was spending as opposed to ours and needed to show relatives what we had got. A lot of paw patrol stuff is sold out though, wonder if they're the unexpectedly popular thing this year.

Elvish · 29/10/2015 14:35

I don't need gumball machines do I??

PontyGirl · 29/10/2015 14:39

Okay I have made the awful mistake of cancelling hotel chocolat... i cancelled it before I opened the box but now I have and I know how bloody lovely they are, I want to get some more

Is the link still about? Flowers

RevealTheHiddenBeach · 29/10/2015 15:07

Thank you for the photos, I think you've convinced me! How do you order more than one tasting club box? Do you have to do each one separately?

Teabird · 29/10/2015 15:17

Cheers Mrslebon, all ordered

Reastie · 29/10/2015 15:22

I too am trying not to twitch with th gum all machine. I have no one to buy it for yet still I want to buy it!

Just ordered the Kindle Fire from Tesco - thanks maddogs that's DD1 sorted SmileSmile

SpottyTeacakes · 29/10/2015 15:35

Apparently the last remaining hudl's are going onto the tesco direct site this week but they couldn't give me a day. I really could do with one as we've already got one for dd and I was just waiting for the next club card boost before getting one for ds! Nightmare. What an odd time to discontinue them...

WindTheFrog · 29/10/2015 15:49

Can I just check was it home & bargains that had the Xmas milk bottles? I've tried 3 now and none of them have had them. I have to say I'm not going on a crazy h&b tour I just have 2 right next to work and one in town when out shopping. I also can't get the white stuff code to work. I did manage to order the Lego mountain warehouse so thank you mama I was beginning to think I'd lost my bargainability

supermariossister · 29/10/2015 15:53

Yes it was home and bargains that had the milk bottle i got ours monday and they were gone when i went back Wednesday so maybe popular

woodythecar · 29/10/2015 15:58

Cheap PAW PATROL toys from China, a few people in a group I'm in have bought them and the feedback is that the plastic is a bit thinner than you get in the shops here, but they are still good quality and haven't broken or anything. The lpush toys were said to be as good as in the shops

Can anyone tell me if the Kindle Fire is good if you have previously had a hudl (do all the play store purchases etc go across).

We have had 5 hudls.

All replacements for 2 bought originally for Christmas 2013. 1 of them (a Hudl 2 - one of the replacements) is still going strong. All 4 of the Hudl 1s have stopped charging after about 6 months. Tesco are now refusing to replace / repair again so after having paid £100 less than 2 years ago, am now having to buy another.

I wouldn't recommend the Hudl, no matter what price they drop to.

winewolfhowls · 29/10/2015 16:22

I succumbed to the gumball machine. Do you think they automatically send you the free one on the bygof offer?

HortonWho · 29/10/2015 16:36

word of caution on the paw patrol - I bought them from another seller in China and they were obviously the factory rejects that didn't pass the quality control. Specifically, the colours didn't quite match on the left/right side of the body parts and on the details, the paint was splotched outside of the area. On one, the white eye colour went outside the eye socket and the toy looked odd as a result.

PjDay · 29/10/2015 16:38

Thanks for the gumball machine link, DS will love it! God only knows what I will do with the free one.
My first twitch!
