I've been resisting the Hotel Chocolat tasting club but I'm giving in now!
I read sch's post about ordering up to 5 boxes. Do they all have to be the same or can you order different ones?

RollingRollingRolling · 28/10/2015 22:00

TopCashBack morrisons have a £7 off a £50 order for new customers plus cash back starting at £3 up to £8.

I phoned up saltrock today, they are completely overwhelmed with the number of orders placed the weekend of 16th-18th as well as having a crappy website host and changing their delivery company bout they are working through the deliveries. Although it sounds like they aren't going to be able to fufill all the orders and refunds will be given Angry

Just thought I'd give the Flaviar linky a go here if anyone was still dithering whether to get anything.

I can confirm that the tasting club boxes are utterly gorgeous Blush

RJnomaaaaaargh · 28/10/2015 22:11

Emm is it not likely very have just sent the wrong item by mistake? Annoying but perhaps best just to contact them and ask them to exchange for the correct one?

RevealTheHiddenBeach · 28/10/2015 22:14

ARe the tasting club boxes properly giftable or do they have tasting club scrawled all over them and a load of propaganda inside?

mrslebon · 28/10/2015 22:15

Top Shop have free delivery until midnight on Friday. Just bought myself a pom pom keyring to put on my new bag: www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?Ntt=pom%2bpom&storeId=12556&productId=20774526&urlRequestType=Base&categoryId=&langId=-1&productIdentifier=product&catalogId=33057

For anyone with relatives who are into classical music, this is a nice little stocking filler for 96p: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0039OCR64/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_19?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1H9QUZLOKQA7N

I get one for my dad every year and he says he finds them really useful!

ArthurChristmas · 28/10/2015 22:18

wokeup thank you, no I didn't know about it. Are the giftcards new, I.e. Will I be able to gift them?

woodwaj thank you. I was going to drive 4 kids to Boots tomorrow. I might give it a miss now Grin

LucyTheValiant · 28/10/2015 22:23

My Flaviar gin arrived yesterday - thank you to whoever used my link!

Amazon has a 3 for 2 offer on selected toys, including Playmobil, Melissa and Doug, Thomas the Tank Engine and a load of board games. I've just ordered a Hetty Hoover, Playmobil SUV and remote controlled Thomas for £35 where the total RRP was £76!

wokeupwithasmile · 28/10/2015 22:35

Arthur I can't speak for them all, but I got a few (John Lewis for example) and they are proper gift cards. They have a little paper tag on them with the amount printed on, but you can easily scrape it off. That's for the plastic gift cards. Otherwise you just get the code, like with Amazon.
They arrived within ten days of ordering them, so quite good.
Hope this helps.

Reveal - the Hotel Chocolat Tasting club boxes all do have "Tasting club" written on them. But they are fabulous so I'd think they'd be a great gift for someone who loves chocolate. Will try to get a picture up loaded

Chocolateteabag · 28/10/2015 22:41

This is my 6th box as I didn't want to forgot to cancel my subscription last year.

reluctant camper we had the same thing happen with our very order of the mystery mansion. Got sent the mystery machine and the delivery note didn't reflect that.
They claim it was a mistake but I smell a rat....

nickdrakeslovechild · 28/10/2015 22:57

LikeSilver toys r us are doing a mini clip doll with extra dress for 2.99. I got snow white, ariel and Rapunzel.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 28/10/2015 23:00

20% off Penwizard (personalised books) until Sunday with code EARLYBIRD. Quite good books, we have princess and Peppa ones from a few years ago

marfisa · 28/10/2015 23:36

Thank you for the White Company code! Just ordered the DC's Christmas pyjamas. Still rather expensive even with the code, but I love the White Company's kids' pyjamas.

IHeartKingThistle · 29/10/2015 00:20

Tesco clothing have some lovely 'letter' tops for kids in. Blue striped baby t-shirts at £3 in the sale and sweatshirts for boys with a great big letter on the front for £8. Great presents. They do have some more girly ones but not as nice IMO!

babsmam · 29/10/2015 06:25

25% off everything at molten brown using code UKFRIENDS until Monday

babsmam · 29/10/2015 06:26

I too had been planning to get a Hudl and would have had enough clubcard points to cover it. I think we'll go with one of the kindle fires instead... does anyone know if these tend to be part of the tesco clubcard boost?

ReluctantCamper · 29/10/2015 07:40

RJNomaaaagh , what I object to is putting the mystery machine on the advice note when it's not what I ordered, and putting its value at £62 when it retails at half that. As it's happened to others, it looks a little suspicious to me. However, I will return it and move on cos I is calm and mature innit?
