So I thought I would share it here in case anyone wants it.

Basically, it was 16 oz of oats, and then 8 oz each of sunflower seeds, flaked almonds, shredded coconut, raisins (or other dried fruit) and some cinimon. You mix this all together in a VERY large bowl Then in another bowl you put 250 ml of maple syrup (I found I actualy needed more than that) and a tablespoon or two or oil. This is then drizzled over the dry mixture and mixed in.

You spred it on a non stick baking sheet and put in the oven for 10 minutes then use a spatula to mix it up and then another 5-10 minutes until golden brown. I had to do it in three batches.

I bought mostly organic ingredients and the whole lot cost me about £10 (the maple syrup was expensive locally). It has made enough to divide up to at least 6-10 people depending on the size of the containers.

I have done chutneys and things in the past, but this is a nice change.

That sounds good. So you'd just eat it as cereal, with milk? Or dry as a snack (sorry, being a bit dim here)?

Mmm thanks for the recipe, have been meaning to try granola for ages.

Dry was nice. I haven't tried it with milk, but that would be nice too.
