farm playset for toddler

Any recommendations for a realistic farm set for 20 month old? She loves putting animals in a pen and pretending to feed them etc. Budget up to £40 or bit more if amazing.

Just want to mention that you'll find that they nearly all say for age 3+

We have the Melissa and Doug wooden barn (since my daughter was about 2) and its great, she likes putting the animals 'to bed' before she goes to bed herself.

There's a fabric IKEA one, might be suitable

Preloved Fisher Price Little People.

They have lots of sets from previous years & are incredibly durable. All but one set of ours is 2nd hand and still going strong.

Playmobil 123 farm. My 3 yr old got some playmobil 123 stuff for his 1st birthday. We got him more for his 2nd and he still enjoys playing with it now.

We have the wooden one from ELC. It's a little fiddly to put together, but it looks great, has a barn and Farmhouse, henhouse and some pens.

Second the ELC one. You have to buy the people and animals separately though.

Another vote for playmobil 123 one. My 3.5 yr old still loves to play with it. We got it half price in Tesco 2 yrs ago.

It's not at all realistic and the noises will drive you mad but the vtech toot toot animals range is very toddler friendly and the whole range (cars, trains, dolls house etc) all connects really well to make a little town. Ds loves it.

We have that ELC one and it has not lasted well. It's also annoying that the building pieces are not stuck together except for the main barn so every time my toddler picks up the pig pen for example to move it it comes apart.

Thanks for the info everyone. That's helpful to know its durability sweet as I had read it was a bit flimsy and the barn doors are always falling off. I found one called micki farm set which looks quite good, but tempted to find some chunky fence bits and buy a tub of animals!

We've got some toot toot vehicles already and I'm not willingly adding to that fairy aargh!

DS2 has the fisher price little people farm, and it's well and truly withstood his somewhat enthusiastic heavy handed playing.
