Sweets advent calendar??? (Not chocolate)

Just that really. Ds1 doesn't like chocolate, dd does (slight understatement...) i always got them a picture advent calendar, which they loved, until mum stepped in and got them chocolate ones a few years back. (She's a bit like nana off the royal family offering ham to Anthony's vegetarian girlfriend as it is 'wafer thin'- of course he will like the chocolate, it's cadbury and only small).

So now, dd likes a chocolate one. Previous years ds1 has had a picture one with a bag of sweets to have one each day, just wondered if anybody knew of an actual sweet calendar??? Not managed to track one down myself.

I think you get refillable ones that you could put anything in?

Pretty sure m&s do a Percy pig one?

Haribo do one (I've only seen online though)

I have the same problem, DS1 doesn't like chocolate, DS2 does. Last year was ok cos DS2 was only 7 months so didn't have one (DS1 had a chocolate one which he happily fed to me every day Smile )

This year I'm debating getting refillable ones as an investment and each year buying whatever sweets/chocolate the DC like at the time.

Either that or I've seen a fantastic Brio train calendar which DS1 would adore ...

Jelly Belly and Haribo do one but they are both expensive imo.

The Percy Pig one, I believe, is still chocolate.

There's the Lots of Pots things that can be put into reusable calendars.

I think investing in a nice reusable one and filling it with sweets yourself might be the best idea :)

gingerbread advent calendar

Jelly Belly advent calendar. It's out of stock online but if their marzipan one is anything to go by then they might have it in stock in a store.

Many thanks! Why are the non chocolate ones so expensive?? I can't believe Haribo et al don't do a normal £3 one in all the supermarkets with a sweet per day.
