I have just been on Amazon and an offer popped up if I buy a £30 gift card I will get a £7 amazon credit on my account. If you know you are spending more it might be worth seeing if you qualify

Reastie if you feel along the inside of the stompeez you can feel the pressure pad under the heel. I was very against them but cracked last Christmas as a Santa present (as clearly it would never come from me!) And they have been a huge hit, especially with the adults, they just make me smile!!

Whoever is looking for converse depending on size look at blue banana. Picked up a pair for £20 yesterday for size 4 DD so adult size, reduced from £48.

Littlemissadequate · 15/10/2015 22:15

This is a fantastic list. Thank you xxx

ChipperNipper · 15/10/2015 22:16

Are the B&M stompeez the same as the ones on the adverts?

I passed them by the other day as I wasn't sure if they were just imitations.

PjDay · 15/10/2015 22:35

Ok ladies, I need help finding a good (read amazing) deal on a 40inch SMART TV. Has anyone seen a good offer?

Our tv is losing the will to live and I know the DC's would love one with built in wifi to watch Netflix etc but needs to be a decent deal to justify the pre Christmas spend. Flowers

Littlemousewithcloggson · 15/10/2015 22:40

Sorry if already posted but when into morrisons tonight and they had Lindt advent calendars £5, the snowman Thornton advent calendar £3 , Christmas biscuit cartons £2 and tubs of sweets/pouches of Celebrations on 2 for £5

Pobspits · 15/10/2015 22:48

Thanks for the validation re my life Barbie bargain!

Off to read rest of thread now....I noticed in the tesco sale they have kids sewing machines and knitting machines but don't know if they'd be any good?

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 15/10/2015 22:51

Ahhhh I'm twitching! DD is pretty much sorted for Christmas including her main present but the playmobil shopping centre is on offer for £69.99 in toys r us & I know she'd love it. Has anyone got it? Is it worth it? I have restrained myself for 2 nights but I keep going back to look at it because really I want it for myself

Pobspits · 15/10/2015 22:51

If anyone sees any Lottie doll bargains please let me know!

DeloresDeSyn · 15/10/2015 22:54

romcom Bon Nuit pyjamas are lovely, I've had a few pairs for mine, but they have closed down. Someone is selling new stock on ebay though if you fancy a look through.

JaquelineHyde · 15/10/2015 22:54

The entertainer has 70% off selected lalaloopsies, and there are a few £5 bargains to fe found in the Tesco clearance section.

JaquelineHyde · 15/10/2015 22:58

Does anyone know if there are any bargain Stompeeze to be found online as I'm on a remote island so it's online or bust for me [santa]

Also I'm after a giant jelly baby sweet, Ds1 has requested one for his birthday in November and apart from studio catalogue I can't find them anywhere!

zipzap · 15/10/2015 23:01

PJDay I've just help mum buy a new 40 inch tv as her old one only showed images in shades of purple and orange.

She ended up at Costco - instore rather than online is cheaper. Best deal they had then (couple of weeks ago) was an old Sony model from last year (same model here but at John Lewis. JL have it currently for £389 - Costco were cheaper by about £20 and they also had a free inclusive 5 year guarantee (lots of people think that JL are the only place to do them but lots of places do now and Richer SOunds have a 6 year guarantee).

Mum got her new tv home and wasn't sure as it looked smaller than her old one - new ones only have a very thin border around them these days, her old one had a good couple of inches around it so it was actually quite a bit smaller. She rang up the help line and if she had wanted, she could have just taken it back for the first 90 days, even after using it, because she had changed her mind at costco.

They also had some Panasonic and LG and something else ones there, we got the man to show us what the screens would be like if they were just showing a regular non-HD feed as she doesn't watch stuff on HD and some of them are amazing at showing HD at the expense of being not very good at regular tv so it's worth asking them to show you if that's important to you. I think the LG was cheaper than the sony and almost as good. what's scary is that they have so many much bigger TVs now that you're looking at the 40 inch ones and you're thinking they look really small. Then you get it outside and have to manhandle it into the car - you'd think it had doubled in size Grin We put it standing upright behind the front seats and it only just fit. If she'd gone for anything much bigger it would have been a real struggle to get it home, particularly if there were other people in the car!

woodwaj · 15/10/2015 23:06

Elvish · 15/10/2015 23:08

Thanks Arthur I'm looking for adult size converse for an 11 yo with bigger feet than me!

PjDay · 15/10/2015 23:14

Thanks ZipZap, I hadn't even considered Costco. Our current tv is LG and 5yrs old, has been great so contemplating another only a smart tv this time. Will ask friend with a card!

Elvish · 15/10/2015 23:19

Arthur you're my hero - red low converse on blue banana reduced to £20 and the only size they had was just what I wanted. Happy me and happy little girl coming up!

WoahBodyforrrrm · 15/10/2015 23:22

I've just order a lovely floral three set of strange cases for my DTD's. They're £6.99 a set or two for £10 from the works and there is a 25% off code on hotukdeals.

These would make lovely little gifts and at that price, you could even fill them with little treats!

happsymum · 16/10/2015 04:22

JaquelineHyde prezzybox have a lovely giant jelly baby sweet for ?14 (must be big!) :)

Millie2013 · 16/10/2015 06:06

Pjday, we bought our smart TV from the reduced section in john Lewis (it was an ex display).
I wouldn't mind, but we were only passing through, from the car park!

Oncandystripedlegs · 16/10/2015 06:27

PamelaEwing · 16/10/2015 06:28

jacqueline not exactly a great bargain but plenty of Stompeez to buy online at Argos £9.99-£12.99 or here same sort of prices.

waitrosefizz · 16/10/2015 06:39

I have that £19.99 Playmobil Campervan reserved for collection later on. Do I want it or should I be looking at the non-US version? Why must there be two! I'm new to Playmobil Confused
