pipersorange my OH got a suit from TM Lewins and I remember noticing some shirt offers. Have a nosey on their website

ditsygal · 15/10/2015 16:36

If anyone still wants to order the lostmyname books with 15% off I only need one more person to get my free book! Thank you Smile www.lostmy.name/friends/gemma-laragy-hully

Chocolateteabag · 15/10/2015 17:11

Pipers - I have only just found this website this week so cannot vouch for them at all but try Tailor for less?

Shirts start from £39 plus postage which is steep but I think it's coming from China.

They have a sister site (Sumissura) for women - I was looking for a made to measure coat as I have monkey long arms but I need to do some more research before I risk an order.

Chocolateteabag · 15/10/2015 17:12

Otherwise my oddly shaped DH gets his shirts from TM Lewin too - the slim fit ones with extra long arms work for him.

Justyou · 15/10/2015 17:34

Are there any current book people codes does anyone know?

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 15/10/2015 17:43

Just used the FeelUnique code and got some decent make up. Sod all to do with Christmas but I might look vaguely alive by then once it turns up!

PipersOrange · 15/10/2015 17:46

chocolateeabag that seems very similar (although better website) to one called itaylor. I'm a bit wary just because he needs more than one shirt, but I wouldn't want to spend £100 and them all be awful, but the delivery time is so log that it's not really worth it for one...

I can't seem to see a tailored section on TM Lewis? Or is it just standard sizing. They don't even go up to his neck size!

DeloresDeSyn · 15/10/2015 18:13

Thanks custard

custardcreamdreams · 15/10/2015 18:32

Haven't seen one Justyou, just checked my email and the last 15% off I got from them ended Monday.

Anyone looking a kindle paperwhite, I have a £20 off code you can pm me for. Sent through from goodreads, valid until the end of the month. I'll not be using it.

d270r0 · 15/10/2015 18:47

Went to IKEA and was incredibly restrained with just some gift wrap bits purchased. Went to home bargains and was not quite so restrained, but in the plus side got some Stompeez for dd and she's been asking for them for two years now. It's weird though, I tried seeing how they worked by stomping them with my hands after purchase like they were feet and whatever technique I used I could not get them to actually move Hmm . I wonder if it's one of those things that work on the adverts but never in rl.

I'm impressed by the Barbie second hand purchase :)

Elsa fancy dress half off at Tesco now £7. They have sizes 5-6 and 7-8 currently. It's the new summer edition, I think.

Also minions costume.

oh what was it like, nothing in line yet. I sually get my xmas paper for the santa presents from there its great quality....

HortonWho · 15/10/2015 19:22

Oh hang on, those are meant to be penguins aren't they? That's glitter brown rather than black in real life... I wondered what owls had to do with xmas but just went with it as current bedtime story features an owl.

profpoopsnagle · 15/10/2015 19:22

Just bought DD these earth animal derwent pencils for £6, reduced from £19.50

Reastie · 15/10/2015 19:28

Drastic there was lots of different Christmas wrapping bits and accessories (ribbons tags etc). I can't remember prices of many details [useless] but I got a roll of brown paper looking one with Father Christmas on. I also noted a large roll that was a lot wider than most rolls so would be good for large presents, I think that one was about £4.50. I wanted to get some mini baubles to use to decorate my wrapping and a mini fake Christmas tree for dds playroom but resisted.

Grin Restie I did exactly the same as you with the stompeez in Home Bargains too and couldn't get them to work. I wondered if them only moved as per the ad when you take big steps. They only had one type and ds didn't like them which is a shame as he's been wanting them for years too.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 15/10/2015 19:30

Apparently to make the Stompeez work you have to stamp quite hard with the heel of your foot

Toffeelatteplease · 15/10/2015 19:56

Disneystore £1 delivery works as long as you have a "Halloween" item in the bag. You can have non Halloween items as well and still a pound.

I just tested it

Also Halloween is in the loses sense of the word includes dress up, kids jewellery and anything jack skellington .

itsonlysubterfuge · 15/10/2015 20:01

Horton I think they are suppose to be robins, not owls. That is why their bellies are red.

TheSkyIsAwake · 15/10/2015 20:08

Is there a free delivery code for the works floating about anywhere?
