Christmas books for older teens/young adults

Doing Christmas Hampers for nieces & nephews this year rather than add to Christmas Day pile. Am looking for fictional book ideas please, preferably with some Christmas connection. Am ok for little ones, struggling with the older:
Males - 15 & 21
females - 18 & 22
Oh and might do same for older ladies, one in 60s and one in 70s so ideas for books for them welcome too please

The Christmas Mystery by Jostein Gaarder (who wrote Sophie's World) is very nice for older teens. You can read it like an advent calendar, a chapter a day.

EmmaMBC just noticed your question, sorry. Am still planning and open to ideas but was thinking Christmas PJs (having checked their parents don't do this already). A Christmas book, a Christmas DVD with popcorn. Christmas socks. For the older girls maybe some Christmassy smelling toiletries.

I love the book Fermat's Last Theorem by Simon Singh... you could say it links to the Christmas Lectures?!

Other books I liked at that age... mainly dystopian stuff. Or fantasy like LOTR. Bridget Jones or the sequel is a bit Christmassy. Or all the Adrian Moles - he covers Christmas in the diary and those are good books for young adults.

I think Tolkien's letters from Father Christmas is lovely at any age, but it depends on whether your young adults would appreciate it, or see it as being childish still.

EugenesAxe, many thanks for Fermat's Last Theorem suggestion. Managed to get one at a great price from a seller on EBay (blacko55). Lots of sellers there had cheaper price for 'used' copies, but the one I got was 'new' and it arrived quickly. Hopefully eldest will enjoy it.

Not fictional as such, but last year I managed to pick up this at Poundland. Not sure if they have it again this year, but worth checking.

Welcome butterflymum - now I am nervous! I really hope he likes it; Dr (?) Singh is one of my heroes and I think he has a very accessible style, but it doesn't change the fact it's a book about maths.

He often does lectures and talks, sometimes with famous skeptics (unfortunately I am a Christian and a hypocrite for being there) that are good. If you fancied an intellectual bonding time with your DD/DS :)
