It's her birthday mid- November and from us she's getting a doctors set and a few dressing up items. My mum is buying her Duplo to add to her collection. She's already got jigsaw puzzles coming out of her ears Smile. People are asking me what they can get her for Christmas and with a birthday so close I haven't got any ideas. She's a pretty normal kid- she's quite partial to pink and sparkly but also enjoys building/construction type activities and puzzles.

My 3 year old loves hair clips and sparkly tat from Claires! Bows, flowers, a few strings of beads and a handbag and she's as happy as a pig in the proverbial Grin

She also loves reading, colouring; she has a pencil case with all her own crayons and stickers, bath toys are always popular and she likes sand play and play doh.

I don't know whether or not she likes Paw Patrol, but my 3yo loves it. he has the little pup toys-the one where you press their badge, and we get an awful lot of interest from other kids his age.
The Playmobil swimming pool has been going here for years and years, massive hit.

Has she got any wooden train track? If not I'd go with that. Also you can start getting playmobil at that age. It says 4+ but perfectly fine for 3 year olds.

Was about to suggest duplo but i see you already have that covered! What about a toy kitchen? DS1 got his for his 3rd birthday an had been played with daily by both him and his younger brother. We got a wooden one with food and a chef outfit and they both love it.

Orchard toys games are great, and the leap pad too. Playmobil is good - it's fine for 3yo, and even if you have one that likes putting stuff in their mouth (DS2 I'm looking at you!) you can put the really little bits away for later.

We're getting DD1 one of those fabulous tails. She loves attaching things to her waistband and being a cat.

I bought dd a wooden shop from Asda for £35 and a till from Wilkos for about £10. It is played with every day. She has just turned 4 and I bought it last Christmas.

Kinetic sand, amazing mouldable sand.

Have you got any of the Orchard board games? We have collected quite a number, as dd's loved the from about 2. Dotty Dinosaurs was a good one. Tummy Ache is probably the current fave.
We've got some other good board games for this age group too - the Bear Hunt game (based on the book) is one I'd really recommend.

Definitely wooden train track. If you've got a few people buying for her you can ask them all for a different bit, bridges, tunnels etc. My DD played so many hours with hers, definitely best ever toy. Toy shops are great too, so maybe money towards getting one of those?
