nickdrakeslovechild · 09/10/2015 22:04

I got the spicery lucky dip XL box for £7.50 that someone posted about, I keep forgetting to say how great it is, only problem is I need another one now for a friend who I know would love it. So if anyone sees them on offer again please let me know! Thanks

ChocolateWombat · 09/10/2015 22:09

My MOlton Brown stuff came today.
It is lovely that you get a gift box, but quite daft that they give you 1 big gift box for an order of 3 identical things, which will clearly be for 3 separate people.
So I ordered liquid soap/hand lotion sets x2, but they arrived in one big gift box - it is far too big for just one to go in, so will be wasted. Never mind, not a big deal but just a bit daft.

My Chill Factor slushy cups also came £5.75 from Ebay and because I bought 2 postage was £2.75, so about £7 each.

And I went on online chat with Boden to ask why I hadn't got a £10 voucher and they gave me one - so all good. Thanks MN.

Unicorn Fairy Lights at Matalan £8
Could be combined with a 20% Click and Collect code.

Kerrierr · 09/10/2015 22:18

Chocolatewombat- I emailed MB saying I wanted separate gift boxes for my order and they sent me out separately in the post a big set of packaging enough for all my items individually. (Free of charge!) It might be worth you emailing them.

PamelaEwing · 09/10/2015 22:27

Re: chill factor slushy cups. I read somewhere that the ones with the sun motif work, the others without the sun, don't. Is this just a myth?

OvO · 09/10/2015 23:49

NoManJan · 09/10/2015 23:54

As everyone did such a fab job on unicorn pressies, can anyone help with a request for 'rainbow things' for a little girls bedroom? Flowers

zipzap · 09/10/2015 23:55

NaturalBlonde - there are lots of things if you hunt around on ebay!

More reusable bags that fold into something cute: Strawberry about 50p, Clownfish about 60p, rose bag about 50p

If you hunt you can find things like this deal for 20 of the rose bags to bid on for $12 (nearly £8, which means they come in under 40p each) - looking at what's going to finish soon and seeing the prices, knowing how much the buy it now price is and putting sensible bids and maximum prices in can lead to some real bargains. You can use the ebay filters to set up a maximum price (say $1, about 60p) and free international shipping, sort by time ending soonest and then just see what comes up.

Scarves is another area you can pick up some real bargains - again, doing it the last minute bid method... And there are so many scarves on there that it's not too time consuming if you know that you need say 10 or 20 etc. Last minute list for scarves

Likewise cosmetic bags can be got for less than a dollar - this is a time sorted list...

These photo frames are cute for 99 cents

These cookie compacts with mirror and comb are fun - again for 99 cents

There are fruit memo blocks which are fun - this listing also includes cute post it notes, all from about 30p. In the past they've also had memo blocks in the shape of christmas trees, iphones, money and more, again just search on terms that you think people will be into.

Coin purses - all sorts from Watermelon Coin purse to disturbing kittens to cute things and sensible ones

Keyrings - nice christmas ones, bike that doubles as a beer bottle opener

Finally for now - cute mobile phone stands

zipzap · 09/10/2015 23:59

NoManJan - have you thought of a rainbow wall sticker? There are loads on ebay, from straight forward rainbows, to fake windows overlooking a rainbow scene to quotes with rainbows and more...

BlueStarsAtNight · 10/10/2015 00:01

Thanks zipzap for reminding me I wanted to get a fleecy Christmas blanket for DS - I couldn't make the ones at Asda work but found one that's perfect on eBay for £6.99 delivered.

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 10/10/2015 00:25

Have a bit of a random request of all you helpful ladies...We have picked out secret Santas in work (early I know but they like to be organised!)
£20 limit. The girl I'm buying for is constantly drinking diet coke and I'd thought about putting together a 'diet coke hamper', have seen free printables on Pinterest saying 'this house runs in love and diet coke' which I could print and frame cheaply, also thinking maybe diet coke glasses, some actual bottles of diet coke, maybe some cola bottle sweets. If anyone sees any 'diet coke' bargains or has any suggestions I'd be very grateful!! Smile

Pobspits · 10/10/2015 00:29

Roald D audio 10 cd collection £20 at book people.

zipzap · 10/10/2015 00:48

Banoffee Diet coke bracelet or diet coke bracelet charm?

Pinkladymel · 10/10/2015 00:56

I've got a NEXT code for £20 off a £50 spend. Just PM me if you want it :)

NoManJan · 10/10/2015 02:52

Banoffee...what about a can cooler/stubby holder?

Romcom · 10/10/2015 06:47

has anyone figured out where you input the Emma bridgewater code please?

OctopusArmEnvy · 10/10/2015 06:59

Pm'd you pink lady :-)
Anyone that did the chalk pens through stationary island - check your email there is s code for a magnetic black glass notice board for 1p if you write a review. Offer ends Sunday and is first 50 only I think.

storybrooke · 10/10/2015 07:06

SoupDragon · 10/10/2015 07:08

Th Emma Bridgewater code goes in the Referred by a Friend box. I think you need to type it exactly.

storybrooke · 10/10/2015 07:11
ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 10/10/2015 07:13

banoffee you could put in some red & silver nail varnish. There are also lots of recipes around using diet coke - you could print some of those off.

woodwaj · 10/10/2015 07:21

If anyone uses Ebay I got an offer with this morning for 40 free listing and 50% off the final valuation fee. The offer was at the bottom of my app summary page and I had to click to activate it.

WindTheFrog · 10/10/2015 07:26

Zip zap we got the same Christmas blanket last year and it never went away either. I was very impressed with the quality.

That next deal is the refer a friend deal, you both get £20 on your account so if you do set one up make sure you tell your friends and if they set up you'll get even more!

I'm off too see if I can find some of those Santa bottle covers to fit prosecco bottles. That will tick all the aunts and uncles off nicely.
