My MB order hasn't arrived either :( I'm getting worried, it's nearly last post.

MissRainbowBrite · 08/10/2015 20:32

Our Home Bargains had the Frozen Fever busy book as well as the normal Frozen one, £3.99 each, a bargain compared to £7.99 that WH Smith are asking.

RJnomaaaaaargh · 08/10/2015 20:48

Wondering who I can send a potato to now...

NewMrsX · 08/10/2015 20:58

I went into a Timberland shop today to buy a wallet for DH and got 10% off by signing up to the mailing list at the checkout

Joycey29 · 08/10/2015 20:58

mrslebon · 08/10/2015 21:02

How long did your MB order take to arrive in store from when you ordered Joycey29?

Thanks eastmidswarwicknightnanny for the Octonauts/Matalan tip - ordered the Build A Gup set as a birthday present with the 20% off code.

TobleroneBoo · 08/10/2015 21:07

NewMrsX · 08/10/2015 21:07

I picked up my MB order this evening and I'm really pleased with it. The gift box is a nice touch too. I ordered Tuesday so really quick delivery to store

WoahBodyforrrrm · 08/10/2015 21:29

zipzap · 08/10/2015 21:30

Some people have mentioned their dc like Bing and there not being many Bing toys around - my dc a bit old for it so not sure about it exactly - but there was a nice looking comic (maybe one off the BBC special ones) that was dedicated to Bing and had several character in plastic on the front, approx 3 inches high, that looked quite sturdy.

Would be a nice little present - I put something like this rolled up into my dc's stockings - to take up space plus lots to keep them quiet on xmas morning, be it looking at the comic or playing with the figures.

Unicorn money box at Matalan here www.matalan.co.uk/product/detail/s2609726/unicorn-money-box--20cm-x-9cm-x-19cm

Trumpton · 08/10/2015 21:45

Yes the voucher can be used from 25th ( when the show opens) onwards.

Your DH wants to go ? He's a keeper ! My DH OF 40 years would rather stick pins in his eyes ! Which is why I go to London once a year to do lovely things by myself !

Ps I think IdealHome magazine also has the voucher in it.

MakStout · 08/10/2015 21:46

RJ it is the ghost girl set, my local boots had them all stacked out ready for tomorrow. There was make up brushes in it, not sure what else as I was just passing to collect ds antibiotics.

Deedeecupcake · 08/10/2015 21:55

Has anyone bought anything other than toys of Aliexpress, like cups or drinks bottles? Two frozen water bottles for €8, which is pretty good considering they're about €10 each over here.

Chocolateteabag · 08/10/2015 21:57

Grin love the Potatoe message OhHolyFuck !

I wish I could think up business ideas like that (and how to market them)

Neeko · 08/10/2015 21:59

Deedee I bought some cups last year with pictures of Anna and Elsa on them. Was really pleased with then until I realised I didn't know if they were bpa free or not. Fortunately the pictures wore off quickly so I could bin them without the kids protesting too much.

zipzap · 08/10/2015 22:01

There are loads of cheap reusable bags on ebay which could make nice little extra presents given the removal of free plastic bags.

There are lots of plain ones but also others that fold down into a strawberry or a rose, a clown fish, a pig, a panda, duck, dog or cat, more animals and even more animals and a final load of cartoon animals and characters

Cheapest starts from about 50p up to the animals that are less than £2 if you go through the US ebay - bit more if you go through the UK ebay.

Pobspits · 08/10/2015 22:02

Thanks for the Claire's tip - got dd (5) a bag, rings, earrings and hair band for £7 delivered :)

ValiumQueen · 08/10/2015 22:05

Thank you Lovely Smile

Deedeecupcake · 08/10/2015 22:09

Ah that's what I thought Neeko! I was reading the description and it says it has CE/EU certification. What does that mean anyone? Confused
