Am very uninspired when it comes to pressies. Normally resort to a Sanctuary gift box in Boots .

What can I buy my childminder and ds's godmother, both of them help me out so much and I just want to get something that looks like ive put some thought into it. They're both mid-forties if that helps.

What about a large gift bag full of goodies?

hand-made soap
posh olive oil
small box chocs
ear-rings (don't have to be too dear!)
Nice cup
bottle of wine
toblerone

etc
etc

Doesn't have to be too expensive, but if all are individually wrapped, its lovely as an adult to receive something like this. Makes you feel like a child again!

Make up hampers? Treaty food and drink items are always nice to receive and if you can get things that you know they like it shows thought.

paulaplumpbottom · 01/12/2006 12:52

gift certificate for a facial or mani or pedi?

christmosschops30 · 01/12/2006 12:52

the hampers idea sounds lovely, where can I get a hampery thing from though to start filling?

(see how crap I am)

You know the sort of places that sell the hings that didn't sell in other shops? they always have baskets.

fairyjay · 01/12/2006 12:55

The large Tescos have some wicket baskets in various sizes.

When you've filled and packed it, wrap the whole thing in some of the florist type cellophane, so that the recipient can see and be teased by the lovely surprises inside!

paulaplumpbottom · 01/12/2006 12:59

would you really let them see whats inside?

dmo · 01/12/2006 13:10
