Inspired by the Lindor thread. I liked a poster's idea of filling a glass bowl with different flavour Lindor. Just wondered what chocolate and sweets people like to get in for Christmas. I've bought various things in the past like Heroes, German chocolate marzipan sweets (I've forgotten the brand,) cherry choc liqueurs, marzipan fruits, choc orange. Thinking of just buying a single huge box of chocs this year. Maybe Lindt or M&S.

A tub of roses, chocolate coins, advent chocolates, chocolate mints (normally a selection box from m&s and some mint crisps) oh and a daily dose of the snow balls and the Malteaser reindeer.

We usually get a tub of heroes, but tbh we've all gone off chocolates. They've all gone so downhill in quality and taste [sigh].
Niederegger is good though.

I don't really buy much for the house, maybe some chocolate after dinner mints if we have guests around.

Everyone gets chocolates as a gift though, often I end up wit h2 or three boxes, the kids gets chocolate too, so there is always enough to go around. In fact a lot of it goes uneaten and gets thrown out in March, none of us has much of a sweet tooth.

After eights and quality street cremes (only available at Christmas, saves all the others sitting there while we fight over the cremes!)

A tub of roses, mainly because it's a tradition stemming from my early childhood. They were only allowed to be opened a couple of days before Christmas and the anticipation of gazing up at them on the top shelf for weeks beforehand was wonderful.

Mind you these days I have to hide them up in the loft as I know I'd end up eating them early!

We like M&S Big Selection as a far nicer alternative to QS and Roses. Also their neapolitans make good fillers for grown up reusable Advent calendars. Divine choc coins are fab as well.

Lindor, Heroes, Quality Street, Chocolate Oranges.

After Eights for DS and DH but they are kept well away from everything else as they contaminate other chocs with mint flavour and DD and I both detest mint chocolate.
