Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

Groupon have a 100 piece marble run for £12.99, £1.99 delivery. Not sure if this is a great price, can't remember what I paid last year. But my son really enjoys it. I'm not sure how to copy a link from my app, I'm sure if u search it tho it's come up.

Also Dobbies garden centre have a sale on, I think it's store specific tho. But I got some Sylvanian families stuff 30% off.

Loki my almost 4yo DS got this karaoke/CD player last Christmas. Works as just a CD player, and you can turn microphones on to sing along. He absolutely loves it - had us both belting out John Newman on it yesterday!

Ok so it's not a bargain (yet!) at £35, but if you get any birthday club vouchers from them, and go via quidco/topcashback, or wait until the next sale it could be quite bargainous.

Has anyone managed to get the whittards code to work??

00100001 · 06/09/2015 10:42

Also - download the app Zeek.

Zeek is where you can buy things like £50 of Amazon Vouchers for £48. but if you use promo code 2ACFER - it will give you another £5 off.

It means you can get £50 of vouchers for £43 :)

ipswichwitch · 06/09/2015 11:48

Oh and I forgot to add thanks to Reastie, Brew and Cake to keep you going :)

GetTheFudgeOutOfRodge · 06/09/2015 12:01

Thanks Reastie and to all bargain hunters!

My first time on the Christmas thread and got quite a few bits already.

00100001 · 06/09/2015 12:27

Forgot to add that the zeek app let's u buy voucher for places like. Argos, Boots, Saintsbury's, Starbucks, all at about 10% discoint, plus the £5 extra off if you use 2ACFER promo code.

If you then use the vouchers to buy the stuff in the links, then it will be another saving!

SideOrderofChips · 06/09/2015 12:50

Awww thanks Reastie for my named thread. I feel special Blush

No baby chips yet though, they don't want him to come out at 36 weeks so after a weekend in maternity and steroids in the ass he is staying put for now (probably felt my horror at the needles!!)

But either way, 2 weeks and he is out :D

Moltenpink · 06/09/2015 13:21

Loki17 · 06/09/2015 13:30

margaritasbythesea · 06/09/2015 13:45

I can't find a place to put the whittard code in. Can anyone help?

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 06/09/2015 13:53

Checking in. I bought a couple of things for SIL and nephew yesterday.

I must NOT buy too much for the DCs. They want a sodding XBox which will bankrupt me anyway.

FireflyGirl · 06/09/2015 14:05

They've got the Matey bubble bath in Poundland. Yes, you guessed it, it's a pound Grin

My sister and I always used to get one for Christmas [nostalgia emoticon]

LinzerTorte · 06/09/2015 14:16

Thanks for the Zeek code, 00100001 - I've just bought a £55 Amazon voucher for £48. Smile (Although they wouldn't accept my debit card to start with for some reason, and I ended up having to email them proof of ID.)

ColeslawSandwich · 06/09/2015 14:27

Loki my DD loves that CD player and microphones that Ipswich linked to - she's played with it weekly for the past two years.
