Hello all,

Hopefully the second message on the thread will contain a list of potentially useful links. I haven't checked through all of last years useful links so if I've missed any good ones please let me know and I'll amend.

I'll do my best to keep it updated with each new thread.

DD was watching some kind of Disney Christmas cartoon this morning so I'm feeling rather festive today :)

Oh thanks Rum that's great, I want one now Smile

Chocolateteabag · 15/09/2015 20:01

Millie - my acrylic photo was really easy. Claimed it then have just picked a picture and the credit was there to take off. Nice easy present for DH for £1.99 postage.

Chocolateteabag · 15/09/2015 20:04

oops sorry - Flowers to ja9r for the snapfish acrylic photo link!

Millie - thinking a bit more if you've claimed your photo. I would log right out and go in again as looks like it's just a bug in your/snapfish system

Millie2013 · 15/09/2015 20:26

Thanks, will try that :)

GetTheFudgeOutOfRodge · 15/09/2015 20:29

Thank you ja9r, great little gift!

SitsOnFence · 15/09/2015 20:35

Looks like a good deal. Thanks Rum for the explanation.

DeathstarDame · 15/09/2015 20:43

NotSayingImBatman · 16/09/2015 11:06

Does anyone have an ELC birthday club code?

It's just occured to me that despite both DSs being signed up since 2012 and last year respectively, I've never been sent a code or a birthday pack!

Have emailed them but in the meantime would really like a code if anyone isn't using one pretty please Thanks

FannyFanakapan · 16/09/2015 13:55

HI all, on Thread 1, I said Id ordered lots from ALiExpress and I promised to feeedback...

Well its a bit hit and miss....

Successes:

Heelys - although I ordered the wrong size completely :( my heaad was clearly lacking, does anyone want to buy a pair of size 6.5 girls pink single wheel heelys? Grin I am going to reorder and get some sent over in the right size.

Frozen plush dolls - bought Elsa and Anna 40cm and they are perfect - come with an EU tag and everything. I bought the animator dolls from the same site and they are very dissapointing. They are cute enough but not the Disney ANimators, and are a lot smaller than advertised, so steer clear.

Frozen Anna dress - perfect although it looks quite small - which as its for aa very petite young lady will be fine!.

Magnaformers came in a bag, not a box, but look absolutely fine and work well. The only thing is that I paid a lot less (around £20 rather than £30).

The bads:

toy phone cheap as chips but completely broken on arrival.

toy tablet - in chinese and English - have not played with it yet, but it does seem pretty cheap and tacky. Stocking filler rather than present maybe.

HeyDuggee · 16/09/2015 14:08

Starlingsintheslipstream · 16/09/2015 15:38

Those Argos hats that HeyDuggee linked to above would be good for when you have to throw together a World Book Day costume at a moments notice.

GetTheFudgeOutOfRodge · 16/09/2015 15:42

Must learn to read posts properly!??Quickly read Starlings post and thought Argos were selling Hey Duggee hats and got really excited Blush

BeamingBrenda · 16/09/2015 15:55

Where are the dinosaur eggs sold?

HeyDuggee · 16/09/2015 15:59

lazzaroo · 16/09/2015 17:23

sailing novice.....have you done that with the spicery pack in other years? Just wondering what the dates might be like on the packs.

Also, on the lookout for Paw Patrol toys....Skye in particular Smile

lazzaroo · 16/09/2015 17:51

And if anyone is in search if Stompeez, they are reduced on the Stompeeze website & in Argos.

I have hAd a couple of emails from ELC recently about DDs birthday- none of them gave a 20% off code so I am not sur did they do them anymore.

I do have a £5 off a £30 spend at Mataram code if anyone wants it. Think it is single use.
