Chrstmas Cards

I discovered a couple of years ago that charities get less than 10% of the cost of high street charity cards, this seems to be unfair. I now send ecards from Charitecards they give at least 78% plus my Giftaid to the charity, this means the charity receive the full £10 that I pay . I also feel good because it is environmentally friendly. Last year when I left it a bit too late to send my cards it was wonderful especially to our friends and relatives overseas.

Everybody I've spoken to re xmas cards has had a rant about e-cards......

I've bought a box of charity cards for DD to give to her little friends at school but I don't send any from me

i make my own cards for everyone

I like getting cards. Ecards aren't as nice. I'd rather buy a cheap pack of cards and make a donation.

Personally I'm not keen on e-cards, the designs are usually so tacky. But even e-cards are better than a) not getting anything at all or b) getting round robin letters by people showing off about their kids. I reuse all my cards and cut them up into gift tags for the following year, so nothing gets wasted. I also use the backs for shopping lists.
