What are your top tips for getting glammed up for Xmas parties when you have no time?

Imagine you're going to a Christmas party. Imagine too that you have two small children and just about zero time to get ready. What are your top tips for getting glammed up quickly? Also, for the fashion gurus, quick ways to jazz up an outfit and best looks for hiding baby flab?

i find when i go out that the most time consuming part is getting my nails to look good and i have found THE perfect solution for that. it is from avon and its called instant manicure. it is basically stick on nail polish in nail sized sheets, you put it on nail, smooth it down and trim the edges. it last for up to a fortnight and no smudges. also with my hair i tend to wash it let it dry naturally while im getting ready as i have it up all the time so any time its does it looks different. straighten it just before i leave and thats that. my makeup takes all of 5 mins as have it down to a fine art now.
