Anyone else still celebrating Christmas?

We have a large family and don't get to see them all at the same time.

We have two more 'Christmas day' events... One tomorrow and one on New Year's Day. I have just laid the table for tomorrow and put the crackers out and got that little buzz of excitement you get Christmas Eve!

Anyone else doing the same?

Do you do an entire full Christmas Dinner again?
The guests you are entertaining- have they already done the full Christmas Day meal and then again with you?

I had DF,DM,DBro,DSil,DH,DD,DS and me (Christmas Eve to Boxing Day) and I love to plan and shop for Christmas Dinner and I knew exactly what I was going to cook for each meal . I do a very traditional meal, nothing new and fangled
But only once

I have no clue what to cook for NYE/NYD (it;ll just be DH,DS,DD and me) .
But I'll decorate the table, candles and those popper things too.

well, we had christmas on 25th, family on 27th/28th and then friends on 28th and tomorrow we go to another friends.

I have only had to cater one of them, we did get home last night and I heaved a sigh of 'nice to be home' I am pretty much done!

We had family of 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th. Today I flopped (and tidied) and DH went to work. Just had a call that more want to pop by
tomorrow and then DH family are expecting us on the 3rd and 4th. We are away the 31st and 1st. I have had enough.

Next year we are going abroad and not telling anyone until a few days before.

Here it was
-24th gammon,mash and roast veg
-25th full turkey and trimmings at DMs
-26th leftovers selction boxes and pringles
-27th turkey roast here with other family visiting
-28th buffet tea at best friends after panto with kids
-29th (today) the annual turkey and sprout curry, that is a traditional fart fest I do every year at mine

Then tomorrow (30th)we are driving up to my Dsis who is doing a roast dinner for us all, but probably won't be turkey
-31st will be a buffet at mine from 8pm ish, with friends/neighbours popping in/out
-1st I'm doing New years day dinner for family, probably pork or beef
-2nd January is youngest DN's birthday so party tea then with cake

3rd of January will likely be fish fingers, chips and beans as we will be fed up of big meals by then!

In our family we tend to celebrate for the full 12 days of Christmas- I find it strange and a little bit sad when people take their tree/decs down on Boxing day or soon after.

We're having another Christmas dinner over the weekend as we went out for lunch on the day and felt that we hadn't had enough turkey or sprouts!

But yes, I've got three more parties left; an old friend coming over, NYE and our traditional new year curry with my folks.

I love Christmas and drag it out as long as possible .

Yes! Christmas isn't over until January 2nd in this house. It has been made extra special this year because we've been sledging several times.

Yes. Me and DH are in Madrid til 2 Jan 9from 27th). This was our Xmas present to one another. We are scottish, so Xmas is never over til 2 Jan anyway, plus atmosphere is great here as King's Day (6th Jan) is a big deal to the Spaniards so they are in full on holiday/socialising/festivities mode all round which has definitely pre-empted any post Xmas deflaton.

Yes, my kids aren't back in school until the 7th so we actually tend to save up our Christmas treats - cinema, days out, pantos etc until this week or just after New Year.

Also, it doesn't start in November. It actually only starts on the 25th December. :)

I am eating leftover turkey as I read! DD goes back to school on 8th jan so we are going to Norfolk for 4 nights on 2nd jan, can't wait! We've got family over tomorrow afternoon, going to neighbours tomorrow night, cinema on 1st jan then off to the freezing beaches

Yes, we are currently prepping veg and making salads for xmas with my mum tomorrow, car loaded with presents, cake and puddings.

Ahh had a lovely time, Christmas on NYE with my mum :) we always have extended Christmasses as we are a widespread family and we all like to celebrate with each other.
Im currently working out a menu for a 12th Night dinner with inlaws :)
