I've ordered dd3 a micro scooter from JL and will collect from waitrose. It was there today for me to collect so I hope it's still there tomorrow. For the rest I was going to go to toys r us...

Have you got a list? Get in the moment ToysRUs opens and blitz it. The scooter should stay at JL for 7 days I think so pick it up on the way home.

Toys r us should be fine actually. We were in one on Saturday browsing and it wasn't even all that busy. There was plenty of everything and all was right with the world. Turn up when it opens and you'll probably be done quite quickly.

And, looking on the bright side, doing your shopping on Christmas Eve makes you much more pragmatic and less likely to accumulate a mountain of tat that yOU bought just because you saw it in October or whatever.

Waitrose I mean.

Tesco aren't doing click&collect for tomorrow since this morning. I ordered before midday and it's coming on Saturday, fortunately not a Christmas present!!
