They already have too much.

I just ordered some playmobil, a board game and an iPad case for DD1... Then panicked than DD2 doesn't have as much so I ordered her a see saw.

A see saw.

In December?

It's like a sickness.

Omg, I NEED a Whip Stick! I was telling DD1 about walnut whips (she's never had one) she was asking if I liked walnuts (she's never had walnuts either) and I replied that I hate walnuts but love walnut whips. She asked what they were and I was trying to describe them. I told her that she'd love them and we'd probably get some for Christmas.

I'll have to get her a whip stick now! Xmas Smile

We twitched big style because nursery did a letter to Santa with DD2. They gave her the Tesco catalogue and let her go wild Xmas Hmm. Everything on her nursery list was completely different to her original list. There was only one thing on her original list (a toy shopkeeper till). On her nursery list was all Frozen stuff so we ended up going out and buying her an Elsa doll, despite the fact that she got an Anna doll for her birthday in February and it never gets played with! Xmas Hmm

Roundrobin in this house letters to Father Christmas are "wish lists" ie. no guarantee they will get what's on it. Dc are always delighted with what they do get.

IamBlossom, yes, they are in this house too. When DD1 (aged 7) writes her list I tell her that it's up to Santa to decide what, if any of it, she gets.

DD2 (aged 3) only put one thing on her list, which we got plus a few other bits and pieces. Her nursery list had the doll and other Frozen paraphernalia. We only got her the doll - she won't be getting anything else off the nursery list.

She probably wouldn't have noticed if she didn't get the doll on Christmas Day, tbh but I twitched and got it. Besides I want to play with it. It sings Let It Go and I love Frozen

Also went to see santa today and his real life reindeer my dds face was just a picture so I purchased a cuddly reindeer to sit with all the other teddys she has no interest in xx
