3LP... am dying to know what the pressie was she sent for your baby that made you cry upon opening it !!

StrawberryFULLMoonOWOWOWWWWWWW · 11/10/2006 18:04

im not taking it back!!..if she mentions it im oging to say argos had none then totally forgot about it!
and not go into ins and outs cos its not worth me getting stressed!

when she asked me what my dd wanted i said the winks girls world type doll and that if she went to argos it was £22 instead of £30 everywhere else!...so why couldnt she have done that!..im helping her save cash initially and shes just being greedy!

themoon666- a few wks before dd's 1st bday, sil asked what we would like. As she has to post, and dd needed clothes, we decided on a voucher. 4 days after dd's bday a parcel turns up- in it is a large cuddly and sinister looking siamese cat, wearing a tasteful lurid pink jumper emblazoned with "Dd's 1st Birthday" and no card, but a scribbled note saying she couldn't find the card and would post it when she found it.

Dd's bday was 6 weeks ago and yesterday sil sent me a text to say that she never found the card, it much have gone in the bin. It wasn't so much the hideous present tbh, as the blatant lack of though and effort. Why ask what she would like then buy something completely different and off the wall?

The worst thing- from her letter and comments made, she knew I would hate it.

Anyway, I have learnt my lesson, and bought her 4 boys nice presents from the Boots sale instead of spending £20 each on them. I've always bought my nephews lovely presents, but they get so much else and neither they nor their parents appreciate them, or the thought

rant over!

Sally, glad you've come to your senses

3LP, at the siamese attrocity!! Does she usually have such appaling taste? Or is it that she just hates you?
