I'm really stuck on what to get for my Nan, who is in her 90s. Literally have no idea...what are you all getting your grandmas?

92yo grandmother - last year we bought her the Roald Dahl Short Stories for Adults vol.1 &2
She loved them so much we've got her Roald Dahl Boy - Tales of Childhood & Going Solo.
I think she mainly loved the war stories as she has links with the RAF

Mine is 99 and can't see well, so it's hard. I tend to go for nice food, hand cream, flowers or photos of the great-grandchildren. (Even though she can't really see them, she likes to have them in the house to show to other people) I also bought her some talking books one year.

I think as others have said, most people in their nineties don't really need more 'things' but something which is useful and a bit luxurious is good I.e special food, toiletries etc.

My nan's fav presents have been photo books, magazine subscription, which she had for a long time after her eyesight failed because she regularly told me how much receiving it made her happy and her favourite perfume.

For DH's nans I bake/make homemade treats now as they have said they prefer it, this year will be a selection of shortbreads (plain, milk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips) and probably fudge. Although I hope to be more organised this year, a poorly DS lead to me baking at 4.30 Christmas morning!
