Cheap stocking fillers for teenage boys - please help, I am at my wits' end.

I have three dses - 17, 19 and 21 (technically not a teenager, but still likes his stocking).

I always put the following in their stockings - new novelty socks, boxers, hot chocolate powder, mini marshmallows and squirty cream, some grooming product (Lynx shower gel, or some hair styling gunk), chocolate coins, smarties and a clementine.

This year, I have got them a jar each of white chocolate spread, and a pack of Top Trumps cards - and I am wondering if there is anything else inexpensive I could add to these, and the things above.

I don't know if they'd care if their stockings had basically the same stuff in each year, but it is bothering me - so I either need a grip (just for me) or some MN inspiration for them.

Will come back tomorrow with a list of ds's stuff, but 2 off the top of my head are a new wallet and a torch (one that you charge by hand rather than one that relies on batteries)

Carmelkate, my dc's get pot noodles and cans of fizzy crap too! Not allowed pot noodles at any other time! DD wants one of those 'snack attack' packs with a minute wrap, crap ham and a cheese string for about £3!! This year DS is also getting a gift voucher for Gregg's so he can do on sausage rolls and steak bakes. Will probably be his top present!!! Ahh... They were brought up to eat their 5 a day, now I dread to think!!!!

makemineapinot · 25/11/2014 23:06

Yep, torch too and silly top trumps like plop trumps, Hollister spray (boak) I is, up here in Scotland Bawbags boxer shirts are a huge wannabe but are about £10 a pair.

gangsta rap colouring book there's also heavy metal and other grown up colouring books, wrap with a cheap set of felt tips, as you're never too old to colour in!

wallet ninja fun but practical too. There's cheaper ones without the ninja style for about 89p

Wasted I have bought sugru for a few people on my list, its fab!

Headphones are another great stocking filler for that age group I think.

Small LED torch for keyring
Pens
Thermal gloves with "phone" fingertip

Gremlingirl · 26/11/2014 18:07

Campus Gifts is good for this sorted thing - we have ordered a couple of fart machines for stockings!

Allalonenow · 26/11/2014 18:09

The Science Museum shop usually have some good bits and bobs.

ethelb · 26/11/2014 18:13

Tiger and Hema are my new finds for cheap, not crap stockings fillers. Primark has some fun boxers in. Just got DP some glow in the dark ghostbusters boxers. If he doesn't want them I will have them!

zipzap · 26/11/2014 20:07

Amazon and ebay have loads of bits and bobs - lots of things have been hunted out by people on the Christmas bargain thread on mm - definitely worth a look!
couple of things spring to mind - zip earphones - the wire for the two sides zips together so they dont get tangled for £2-3.
And if anyone likes travelling - a scratch off map from eBay about a fiver.
