Sigh, just bought a Barbie DVD box set. Better that than the almost-7 yo DD3 hunting barbie videos on youTube, and asking why some are blocked...

I've learnt from previous years that you need to check the price out before the deals start - camelcamelcamel tells you the highest and lowest prices on Amazon over the last year (it doesn't take account of Black Friday deals I don't think, they must not be able to track those)

Bugger, on waitlist for cities of gold but poor chance. I really want it! Hope it's repeated again

Bit gutted, saw last night that some toot toot animals stuff was coming up today at 7pm, just checked and it's no longer on the list. Does this happen a lot?

Hi, I am new to the Black Friday and have a couple of Qs!

Is anyone else ordering from uk site to a non uk destination? Usually amazon deducts VaT at checkout but I'm a bit confused by the order details from Black Friday purchases - it seems to deduct VAT from the original price but then the order total comes to a figure almost but not quite exactly the same as it would be inc VAT? Bit weird.

And also, the mega deals I'm expecting on Friday, are they announced before hand or are they all going to be listed as an when as a surprise so we literally have to be glued to the computer all day?

IME ilove the Friday deals aren't any better. It's just cluttered up with the tat that hasn't sold from earlier in the week, by then.

Early, if you haven't yet sussed, you have to check out the item that you've claimed within 15 minutes to get the discount.

Hi, I'm new to this thread and am a bit confused. This morning it was showing that there would be a Motorola video monitor up at 7 but now it's an audio monitor available. Does anyone know why the video one would disappear?

Marne, I have a (unused) inkoo if you would like it? Not sure what type, so might not be any use if it was a particular one you are after. I am happy to post it on, and have someone get some use out of it. I shoved it to the back of the toy cupboard, as I fear if dd1 got used to doodling on a toy, the a ll kinds of things would be scribbled on... PM me if you'd like it.

Thank you Panda, all is ok now, I went back to check Amazon and a few people must have put them back so I managed to get one , I am hoping it will stop dd2 drawing on her build a bears though it may have the opposite effect.

neddle - not sure about episodes etc, but I didn't bother on Saturday purely because it was on there 2 minutes pre-Lightening Deal from another stockist but still via Amazon (if you see what I mean, not via a secondary "shop", so still qualified for shipping offers etc) for £39.99 - not really the massive saving they're making out. I think someone on hotukdeals said that the box said it was copyright 2005 but I'm not sure...

Last year when I wasn't in for deliveries I could pick them up from the post office. This year they don't seem to do that and are dumping them on my neighbour, which could be a bit embarrassing given the volume of deliveries. So now I'm delivering them to DH's work, I just hope he can carry them home!

It's really frustrating isn't it tranquillity? A video monitor is the only thing I'm after this week and I keep on accidentally buying things whilst waiting for one!
