Poundland have a nice scandi range that is a bit of a gisella graham rip off. I also love the parcel paper and nice sticky on things and stamp look.

Another Costco vote here, if you or someone you know has a card. I bought a gigantic roll for under a tenner and it's still going strong three Christmases later! It's reversible too Grin

IKEA, hands down.

Also - I have bought brown paper and brightly coloured ribbon before for adults' presents.

TaurielTest · 10/11/2014 16:39

Can't make it to IKEA, but I got some v reasonable and (I think) tasteful stuff in Lidl yesterday. DSs chose some - for presents from them - from some high street place (Card Factory?) which was also v cheap and not too nasty.

Oh I see owl, my mistake. I thought they had recently opened it up for individual membership for anyone.
I didn't make it over there earlier, I'll see if I can get there tomorrow to investigate anyway.

Thank you so much for the recommendation of Aldi paper with lines on the back! I am a rubbish cutter and cannot cut in straight lines. I am definitely buying my paper at Aldi this year.

CharmQuark · 10/11/2014 23:10

I agree re the Lidl paper, really thick rolls for 99p, I think, several quite different styles printed on brown parcel paper background.

I thought they had recently opened it up for individual membership for anyone.

If they have, they haven't updated the website. I would be delighted if they have!

No I don't think they have Owl, i checked and you do have to be in a specific profession. Very strange but sadly true.
Dp is SE and owner of his company and got a few guest memberships, I've got one. There may be someone you know willing to put you as one of their guest members. Failing that, I'm going in an hour so if you're near me, come along!
