I know as a body MN eschews glittery shit and twigs.

But I have fallen in love with this bad boy which I plan to place in my hall and hang with Christmas decorations.

Is it naffer than mad Jack Mcnaff? Do I care??

I like it but would be a bit at the price.

I have a tabletop version of it purchased from ebay last year which I also get out at Easter and stick Easter eggs on. This Christmas have bought a job lot of mini Frozen Christmas decorations which am planning on sticking on the tabletop twig.

At Christmas, all rules are off... And I like sparkly glittery shit anyway!

That tree wouldn't last five minutes in my house though...

£80! Xmas Shock

PrimalLass · 09/11/2014 20:06

I do think it is a bit naff. Plus bits would break off in this house - we are very slapdash.

I saw one in JL last week - dressed with clear glass baubles. It looked beautiful and very classy Smile

I'd have one myself but my hall is quite narrow and it would end up as a very expensive coat stand.

I have a previous years model and I love it. It's not as birch-white, more bark with snow on, and it looks beautiful.
I only put very small delicate decorations on it.
When I am a millionaire I shall have a whole forest of them. In a conservatory or something.

I like it. I think it would be lovely with glass baubles too. But DP would never agree to it at that price, even if I could justify it to myself!

TSSDNCOP · 09/11/2014 20:58

I saw last years version and coveted it wildly. I really wish I'd got it in the Christmas sale.

I do take your point about the price but I really do think it'll last yonks. I had a fireplace garland made by a florist 15 years ago and I still have it. That's worked out at £5 a year.

as recommended I've looked at Dunelm, too short and Homebase, like the Aran wool version but no lights so won't be cheaper.

In other new DH is on side but votes for the 4 ft version because e thinks the 6 footer will be too wide.

I'm going to drool have another look tomorrow.

Marci how about an avenue all the way down the sweeping gravel drive Grin

Love it - but £80??

Marcipex · 09/11/2014 21:26

An avenue would be nice, it could lead to a little grove of them, with Arctic hares and snowy owls, and deep snow of course ??
