Giant Toblerone
A DVD (£3)
Bubble mixture
Hot Wheels cars
A cheap torch
Books
Cheap purse (H&M)
Hair accessories
A really bouncy ball
A book

I have never bothered with the tat you normally find in stocking and pick a few larger things that will get used/read/played with, rather than kicked under the sofa.

pictish · 05/11/2014 19:47

My two younger ones are getting a brolly each in their stocking this year.

pictish · 05/11/2014 19:47

They really want them. A lot.

WastingMyYoungYears · 05/11/2014 19:47

You can buy individual Lego pieces from the Lego store online, including really cool things like cups, croissants Grin, and pizzas.

You can get them for as little as £3 in B&M. Kids love brollies.

I have a 7yo DD, so far she is getting top trumps (Roald Dahl ones from ebay), a lego mixels bag, a colour your own spinning top, a pack of oidroids.

Will also get character knickers and socks, and obviously something edible!

BikeRunSki · 05/11/2014 21:10

Character pants and socks

Guitargirl · 05/11/2014 21:11

Our 7 year old DD will be having lots of stationery in hers, I think I could take out shares in Paperchase at the moment Xmas Grin. Also some bits and pieces from accessorize. Sweets from the American sweet shop. Character bath stuff from wilkos and poundland. Lipgloss. Lush bath bomb.

ByTheWishingWell · 05/11/2014 21:16

Kiddicare have a 50% off sale on some of the toys at the moment. My DD will be 16 months at Christmas, and I've got most of her stocking fillers from there- cheap bath toys, stacking cups, etc.
Also, the Book People for cheap books for all of them.

fuzzpig · 05/11/2014 21:21

I would like stuff from the American sweet shop in MY stocking! A box of fruit runts would make my Christmas :o

Guitargirl · 05/11/2014 21:23

I love their different flavoured M&Ms.

fuzzpig · 05/11/2014 21:24

What ones have you tried? I liked the mint ones and keep meaning to try the pretzels.

(Sorry for hijack :o)

Guitargirl · 05/11/2014 21:31

Mmmm, yes minty ones lovely, also orange, cherry and white chocolate. Not keen on coconut.

fuzzpig · 05/11/2014 21:35

Cherry ones?!? Oh wow I had no idea about them, will keep an eye out, thanks.

For DD I mean. Not me. Obviously.

Somethingpink · 07/11/2014 14:54

Thank you everyone

I decided on getting them a Terry's chocolate orange, toblerone, tube of sweets and jellybean boozled for their sweet stuff. For 1 year old dd she has just got a little set of 5 chocolate teddy bears.

I popped into wilkos today and got little wind up toys, pencils, rubbers, notepads and various other things for around 50p-£1.50 each. Grin
