I have to wear red. And something sparkly. I am cooking so it will need to be cool enough for the kitchen and comfortable enough for the post dinner bulge!
I have an m and s wine red long 3/4 sleeve jumper dress which I'll probably bling up with a statement necklace.
The month of dec there will be various Christmas jumpers.

This for me with leggings and knee high boots - going out for Xmas lunch. Sparkly, stretchy (loose on tummy), looks like I made an effort whilst feeling like i'm wearing trackies. Grin

Leggings instead of tights for comfort bending over and playing with DC.

People get dressed up for Christmas Day?? Shock
Bloody hell, I'll be in leggings and some kind of dress, aka, my usual every day attire!
No hair done, no makeup (actually, I don't do these on any day) and no photos!

DH always buys me a nice dress(something dressy)that I've pointed him towards Grin I've always dressed up on Christmas day all 7 of us do.Plus I do all the cooking for all 7 of us and we usually have a 3 course meal for Christmas day.

I wear heels but no spanx wouldn't be able to fit any of the lovely food in if I wore them.

Skinny jeans and a Christmas jumper. I do always have nice hair and make up too. Seems wrong to sit down to a big meal with lovely crockery and cut glass in pyjamas!

Usually try and dress up a bit but this year we have decreed it Christmas jumper day so me, DH, dcs mum, sisters etc will all be rocking primarks acrylic finest - a health and safety nightmare if ever there was one.

I usually wear something I already have. This year, I bought a new pine green dress a couple of weeks ago for a Chamber of Commerce dinner, that is nice and has a bit of sparkle at the hip, is clingy in interesting places (Xmas Grin) but still nicely conservative for Chamber, should be comfortable to wear all day and cook in too.

I'll wear comfortable heels (about 4 inches) to church and visits, but maybe then put on flats when I get home for cooking. Or lower heels (1 inch).

(I may have purchased a nice matching set of red items to go under that, as a bit of festive nonsense!! Not outrageous, just nice - and actually matching!!).
