Thankyou to all who either
a- gave suggestions as to where I could find dark chocolate teacakes or
b- what I could get for my nephews and nieces.

A trip to Chester today sorted both. Poundworld did indeed have the teacakes, with long enough dates to last until after Christmas.

And I looked in Boots and liked lots of their Christmas stuff, but couldn't decide (some of it was pricey) so I went to Wilko's intead and they also have 3 for 2. I got some fab teenagery stuff like hats with built in headphones (£8), mugs with a graffiti wall design and pens to do your own graffiti (£5), usb lights (£5), emergency phone charger things and novelty USB memory sticks. Excellent. Their birthdays and Christmases are sorted as soon as I find somewhere with selection packs on special (as I need about 10).

Home bargains does selection boxes by the case if you are after buying now, should be on the website. If you don't need to buy now they will probably be better deals nearer the time elsewhere though.

Anyone know what happens if you return an item you bought with a voucher back to Tesco? I bought two toys using a £5 off code, but have now seen that one of them is reduced further in store. If I take the original one back will they reduce the refund on it by the £5?

Mothercare had the happyland farm set reduced to 35 from 60.

deepblue they will only refund you what you paid. So for example if the item was £20 but you used a £5 voucher and paid £15 cash/card they will refund you £15 only. If the £5 voucher was a clubcard voucher, they should put the £5 back into your clubcard account, but it won't be available to spend until the next lot of vouchers is issued. HTH
