For four and seven yr old dd's...

4yo -
scooter
sparkly shoes
something random from Santa letter
Anna coronation dress
Toddler Elsa doll
Frozen colouring book
Stocking of bits and bobs (toothbrush/socks/knicks/vests/choc coins/peel off nail polish/pocket pack tissues/couple of other random
things I can't remember)
Some clothes

7yo
scooter
sparkly shoes
Anna coronation dress
Elsa doll - not sure which yet
Very Bella shakey nails thingy
Frozen colouring book
Stocking same as 4yo
Clothes

Something shared & probably large-ish chosen by dp.

I can't decide whether to add another toy - probably from Argos 2 for £15 or £30 offer. There isn't much to play with there. But then again, they both have birthdays within a month of Christmas so will get other things then too.

Maybe it doesn't seem so much because I'm making the Anna dresses (and Elsa ones if I have time)

Yes to sticky mosaics, we get a set every year and they are wonderful for kids just to get on with on their own. Dd has them on her bedroom wall from previous years and they look lovely.

Knitted, no there's only our dc's for Christmas and then a handful of adults so no-one to compare with really.

The mosaics sound good for dd1, 2 would just get in a huff with them I think, she doesn't have much patience.

Maybe a colour in house for dd2, mosaic kit for dd1 and a board game to share between them.

I would

But I am ridiculously twitchy

They do also make some very simple sets of mosaics for younger children, I just find it's nice if they've got something to do if the adults want to chat, watch telly etc.

Lego!!

I would get a little something crafty, or lego, or a game.

I would as apart from the doll there's not much to play with especially if the weather is bad and they can't use the scooters yet. Only if finances permit it mind you. I am one to go completely mental at Christmas though.

Creepily, we have gone mad in the past but a lot of it remains untouched so iI was trying to scale it back a bit more than anything.

Right, I have decided I'll add a shared board game of some sort from Wilko's own range, a small craft set each and one other toy each from Argos 2 for £15 or 2 for £30 range depending what suits each of them.
