In our family, we buy £10 presents for all the adults. It's great - everyone has something to open without having to rob a bank. This year however, I'm fresh out of ideas for my DSis and bil. In the pas, I've bought scarves, candles, jewellery.

Any ideas for what I could do this year? Any great £10 gifts ideas?

Past. Sorry!

FYI: DSis enjoys cooking and has lovely natural nails but probably wouldn't like a set of cooking utensils and the nail varnish she uses is at least £5 a bottle. Bil is an avid reader but I've no idea what he's read and not read (nor has DSis). We rigidly stick to a £10 limit.

Lush usually do a gift box for that price.

£10 worth of lottery tickets.

A cook book for your dsis?

BirdintheWings · 24/10/2014 16:27

Flavoured oils, vanilla sugar, mulled wine 'kit'?

'How to be Ridiculously Well Read' (it depends on having already read the books) plus this mug?

Depends if you are counting postage.

Amazing ideas! Love the mug BirdintheWings, £10 worth of lottery tickets and flavoured oil ideas! Many thanks. Some great ideas for secret Santa at work too.

Boots have got gifts categorised by price range online and in the catalogue.

How about each member of the family gives your dsis a voucher for 10 each from the same shop. Then she will have a bit more to spend in the sales.

Do they have Kindles. Could get them a gift card then to download own books or if don't have one get them a book token

Last year there was a good deal on the flavourly box which is good for foodies and those who enjoy cooking. Not sure if there is a similar deal this year but I know it sometimes comes up on groupon, it's subscription but you can cancel as soon as the box is dispatched. Last year when I got it it had things in like red Thai curry kit which was very nice, flavoured oil and bacon jam. Notice they also do a beer box for £11 at the moment on a special offer.

I just got a couple of meal kits from the spicery in their sale bit for £5

www.thespicery.com/pages/spicey_bits/sale.html

The dates are quite short - from December to April next year

They also do individual world recipe kits

Getting personal has some good stuff quite cheap - personalised aprons and calendars are fun.

Hi

Opi gifts sets are nice seen some around £10.

Also Liz Earle hot polish and cleanse are doing a mini Christmas edition of 50ml. It's £9 at john Lewis and has won awards . If she hasn't tried it yet good gift to try

Make and list and you can use all the ideas in years to come.

I started a thread about stockings and plan to do this as otherwise next year I will be posting the same thing.

I also buy things in the sales and keep for Christmas
