Ipad mini or hudl2?

Thinking of getting a tablet each for dd and ds aged 7 and 6. We already have a family ipad which has a lot of their videos and games on it.

The hudl is a lot cheaper but would we regret not getting the ipad minis? What is the android market like for educational apps and videos like disney junior?
DD has had great use out of our ipad this year as she has been in hospital a lot and it has helped her with her reading and maths, but is heavy for her to hold. This is why we were thinking of the mini but then to be fair we want ds to get the same as dd.

Don't know what to do!

We got Hudls last year after reading the Which report.

The new one has parental controls and faster processor.

The new Hudl2 has not yet been through the whole Which test yet, but there is a First Look online.

Thanks PigletJohn. Our main concern with the hudl is does it have the same games and stuff that the ipad has, as we only have experience of the ipad.

We are all apple here and I've just bought my kids a Hudl each for Xmas. Their friends have it and it does all the same stuff for their needs at 7 and 5.

Intrigued to see which you decided on in the end. Not sure whether to go for hudl2 or iPad mini for nearly 7 year old. Mine likes my iPad cus of size and also games she's got. I like hudl2 price and kids security! Help!
