This may have been posted before but I was in IKEA today, they had 24 small bags with Christmassy pictures on and numbered stickers from 1-24. Great for anyone making their own advent calendars.

Hmm maybe I should just get a big box of chocolate and have one a day? (Yeah right!)

limb the groupon snowman toilet rolls offer has finished now but last year I got some in Morissons. They were on offer, 2 packs for £2.50 (8 rolls altogether). I'm keeping an eye out to get some this year, loved the novelty of Christmas toilet paper to go with my Father Christmas decorated toilet!

Not sure how many people this will be useful for but DP told me that all Tesco workers are having a double discount next week so will have 20% off instead of 10% off, he thinks there may be restrictions on certain things though, eg alcohol.

Does the sainsburys sale sell out fast, can't get to mine till tomorrow evening, still worth the trip?

I just read that some retailers ie amazon lower their prices to match the sainsbury sale. John Lewis price match too?

I have never found much in the sainsburys sale, I have been the past few years, last year I went straight after the school run and all that was left was happy land, babies and their own brand toys, lego was only 25% off last year and most sets were cheaper on amazon. I'm not going this year, my dd's are getting older and it seems to be mainly baby and toddler toys in the sales. I will be watching amazon instead to see if they price match anything.

Dd has her eye on a sainsburys exclusive pinkie pie equestria girl with the last of her birthday money so that's me up early tomorrow...

Mil told me about Thr tesco double discount tonight, she didn't say there are any exclusions, I'm hoping she will get me a bottle of rum for DH!

Did some RL shopping today! Went to £stretcher to get the snowman bath Fizzers from upthread and also found candy canes 75p for 12 and lovely candy canes with little jelly characters on for £1.49. I also found themed tins of biscuits (think there were disney princesses and mickey mouse characters) for £1.99. Also bought a tacky tinsel penguin, a light up fairy (also mentioned upthread) and some lovely window stickers that were £2 for 2 packs. Spent £12 in total and came out with a huge haul!

Also went into Smyth's (where I managed to spend a disgusting sum of money) but I did get a bargain on this gruffalo floor puzzle -half price for £3.99 and a doc mcstuffins set of 4 puzzles and a princesses set of 4 also £3.99 each.

Also bought a couple of the festive items from lush for dd... They smell amazzziiiiing! Spent ages in there having a good sniff of everything and got some nice ideas for madams stocking from the lovely people that work there!

However I missed my delivery of my fleeces (after a HILARIOUS conversation with the very nice man at yodel customer services) and also an Amazon parcel... Boo!!

I got my enchanted doorways in the post today too and they are beautiful! Really quick delivery too, despite them saying despatch would be 10 days! I ordered them friday, so 3 days really!

I was given a code for funky pigeon in whsmiths for 25% of cards until January 25th. Can be used multiple times and is STORE25

Finally, I have a code for £20 off a £60 sainsburys shop (new user only) and am highly unlikely to use it if its of any use to anyone!

Frozen singalong CD is in Tesco for £3.

No baby annabels, but lots of lego marvel, Star Wars and lego movie sets. Transformers were there as were the small marvel characters, Spider-Man and good old fashioned board games.

There were lots of own brand stuff, cbeebies stuff like octonauts and barbies, including mermaid barbies and monster high. No sylvannia families this year however they do get lorries loads in every day and replenish each morning after around 8pm at night. If it runs the same as last year, it will be on until Monday.

I missed a parcel with yodel today by 6minutes! It just says 'householder' on the card so can't be 100% sure it's for me but let's be honest, of course it is

Right, I need you all to talk some sense into me!! Dd1 (2.6) is having the asda dolls house for Christmas. I've gone and bought the happyland cottage for dd2 (6mo) but this is ridiculous isn't it?! I am aware she won't be able to play with it yet, but though they would both enjoy 'sharing' (ha!) them and could have one upstairs and one down?
