And good books for dd. Two for £7. I got the st Claire's one the first year and the middle years. Both 3 books in 1. So 6 books for £7.

EustaciaVye · 20/10/2014 15:05

google cardboard is meant to be flat pack. instructions are online I think.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 20/10/2014 15:06

Also if you have a smiggle near by the party packs are half price. From £3.25 up. The £3.25 pack has an exercise book pencil small pack of mini highlighters and setting else. Good value as the pack of highlighters is £3.50 on it's own.
The £6 pack has a spiral bound notebook mini gel pens etc.

HopeAndStories · 20/10/2014 15:14

If anyone is after an iPhone or iPad (or other smart phone) I have just bought myself a black 32gb iPhone 4S for £159.99. It is a refurbished one but apparently it's in really good condition.

There are lots of options and different phones/cheap iPads too. I googled a lot and the site is legit and you can return items and get a refund if you're not happy with the item. The store is www.smartfonestore.com/

DaisyFlowerChain · 20/10/2014 15:22

Amazon have Elizabeth Arden True Love perfume for £5.65 and on prime delivery for those that have it.

nickdrakeslovechild · 20/10/2014 16:05

ok, I think I am being a bit daft, but I cant find where to put the discount code in at Rakuten. Its not an option at any stage??

beadyboo · 20/10/2014 16:14

Me too nick, can't find anywhere to even enter a code.

bettythebuilder · 20/10/2014 16:20

Oh, fab DaisyFlowerChain I used to wear that in my 20's- I might get some for me as a blast from the past!
I twitched on the Molton Brown last night and got the travel gift set for £15- think it will be perfect for stepMIL as the in laws have booked a holiday over Christmas.
Book people delivery arrived, I got 6 paperbacks for dd (including What Katy Did which I think I'll be borrowing!) and a set of 3 steam train books for fil, the whole lot just over £18 delivered, so very chuffed.

Not a bargain as such, but very good value I bought these bamboo toast tongs from Lakeland last year, for my mum, mil & Aunt, and they were a real hit- everyone has said how useful they are so may be good to add to a hamper/ cracker or as a stocking filler.

Fragrancedirect have free UK tracked delivery on orders over £40 with code FREEDEL40

Anyone fancy sharing their top rakuten buys?

Waitingonasunnyday · 20/10/2014 16:53

HALF PRICE LEGO CHIMA

£25 instead of £50 for a multipack
I've just bought one in store, it's huge! Don't forget quidco though if you order online

m.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Toys/Construction/Lego-Chima-Value-Pack-66450/0102354

cookiefiend · 20/10/2014 16:53

Beady and Nick- make sure you are Definetly on rakuten.co.uk and not play.co.uk and you have to create an account you cannot sign out as a guest.

To memory the box to enter the code is under where you enter your credit card details. HTH

I've just got 2 travel card holders for Dh from rakuten, 2.98 for both. I've never shopped there so don't know what else to get, although found super hot BBQ sauce which might do my friends husband, postage was 2.50 though so might keep looking...

missmakesstuff · 20/10/2014 17:26

I'm finding that I can use the code again, but I cannot find our what charges postage and what doesn't until checkout, plus its not combining postage. Goddammit I want my bargains!

accessorizequeen · 20/10/2014 17:41

Can recommend 99santi99.com for micro scooters. I bought a maxi last month for £85, free postage no problems at all. Think mini scooters are £52.

Titsalinabumsquash · 20/10/2014 17:41

Does anyone know if there is a similar retailer to Lush? I can't find any online codes for them and they're not on Quidco and I have a LOT of gift boxes/bathbombs to buy this year, I have a sudden explosion of teenage/pre teen nieces. Grin

scopeisawesome123 · 20/10/2014 17:53

Re: kiddizoom camera. Can I recommend a cheap 'normal' digital camera, or get a new one yourself and give the DC your old one? My camera went a bit weird so I got a new one and gave DD my old one. She LOVES having her own camera 'just like Mummys' and it makes her feel grown up to have a proper one. Best thing we did. She's surprisingly good with it despite only being 3 and never being shown how to use it. She can zoom in on the photos' she's taken on the screen (I have no idea how to do that and I had that camera for years!) and goodness knows what else!

My 2 free Disney DVDs came today Thanks but still awaiting my snowman loo rolls.

Tits that's great!
