Looking for ideas on what to get my dd who will be 13 months at Christmas. So far I have bought:

Fisher Price Little People aeroplane.
Fisher Price bounce and spin zebra (second hand)
A baby laptop.

Have about £50 left to spend so any suggestions would be appreciated.

My dd loved a plastic little tykes rocking horse, a basic tea set, and a Happyland Bus.

A plastic bucket with a lid.
Seriously.

My DS received an early learning centre wooden trike and trailer for his 1st birthday and it's definitely the toy he's had the most use out of. He is 2.5 now and still scoots around on it and all his friends jump on it as soon as they see it. £34 in Argos.

Small world stuff is good. We got a lot of use out of happy land (agree the double decker bus is a good one to start with) and a toy farm.

Other things appreciated here - baby walker (plastic one with buttons to push got more use than the tasteful wooden one), board books with flaps, wheely bug, elc postbox and letters, duplo.

My Pal Violet, very cute and can be customised to say your DDs name and which songs it songs.

Ah thank you for suggestions, she is getting a trike from my parents so hopefully she'll love that. Was looking at the happyland toys they look great but say they are suitable from 18 months plus so wasn't sure if they'd be suitable yet.

Happyland for sure, its perfectly safe but she will get more out of it as the year goes by which is really what you want, no point getting a baby toy when she'll be a proper toddler before too long.

If you are in Berkshire I have a TON of Happyland sets I'm looking to sell as my DC are now more lego / playmobil age :):)

Toy kitchen
Have a look on Amazon, lots available at various prices, so should be able to get ideas there
Boys and girls all love to play with a toy kitchen

One of those cheapo dolly buggys. I got DD one for £5 and it was the best money I ever spent - DS loved it too - they must have used it for 8 yearsSmile

Megablox, books, pretend play type toys. My DD has a picnic basket with teacups etc which she adores.
