I've just bought the first one for my nephew. It had. £25 off it and it still came to £45!!!! I didn't realise it's do expensive. Trouble is my sister might think it's one more thing to trip over. I've looked at the official boxes and they are really expensive. Can anyone recommend a storage box that's looks alright and won't break the bank? Thanks.

I'm not sure if it is more than you wanted to pay but the Trunki toy boxes are quite cool. They have wheels and if you have more than one you can attach them together and pull them along like a train so it has a fun element.

We just got some big plastic storage boxes from Tesco to keep ours in. They're not anything special but they're cheaper than official Lego ones.

A rattan / wicker medium size chest. Looks normal in living room and can add all other duplo in as he gets it

Is it this one? The rrp/savings on amazon are nonsense sometimes.

Duplo sets can come in very big boxes - it won't be too big when it's built. Tbh, I would let your sister choose her own storage to suit her needs/tastes - no doubt your DN will get other presents that she needs to find a home for. Any kind of plastic storage will do for lego - most of DS's is in ikea trofast drawers and tubs.

Yeah that's the one. I've been had! So annoying. I thought I had a bargain then
