Can I have some ideas for what to put in a 15year old boys stocking?

Just that really! He's into football, isn't a "gamer"...

Football magazine. Shin pads. Socks. Mug with fave team on. Ticket to match.

Thanks!

Am wondering if there are any generic teenage boy items other than Lynx!

I have teenage DDs and some of the things I put in you could use for a teen boy or could translate to their male equivalents:

Pants and socks (DD bought DH some fab Marvel Avengers ones last year)
iTunes/Nandos/Costa/Starbucks card
Cinema vouchers
Chocolate orange
Rubik's cube
Top trumps or playing cards with team crest on
Tickets for a gig or concert (depending on how flush you are feeling)

Keyring
Pen
Wallet
Torch
Pack of batteries
Woolly hat

ConkerTime · 29/09/2014 17:28

Small bag of Mini marshmallows and a hot chocolate mix.

mymummademelistentoshitmusic · 29/09/2014 17:32

iTunes card. Lots of things in harpers bazaar for every age.

A pad to warm up hands, this has got a name, but I don't know what! Good for someone going to matches though Grin

Headphones. Ds1 is 17 and even though he has those beats over the ear ones he still sometimes uses in the ear ones. Skull candy do some for about £6 or even poundland ones. Sports direct so some similar to the skull candy ones for £1.99.

Those long tubes of sweets for £1

Fingerless or touch screen gloves from primark.

Posh socks this year I've brought a pack of three adidas trainer liners instead of his usual cheapy sports direct or primark ones. Last year he had superdry socks.

Pens for college/school

Bike/multi tool

Key ring torch (maglite)

I've got some hand grenade egg cups off find me a gift for DS who loves boiled eggs
There are some using stress balls in the shape of men on Amazon's deals today
Base layer from tkmaxx

bigTillyMint · 29/09/2014 17:53

Razor and shaving foam (got that for Ds last year
A sponge with FACE on one side and ARSE on the other. A hit.

bigTillyMint · 30/09/2014 13:25

MrsDB, am loving the sponge idea!

Marking my place. My DS has eczema and can't use smellies like Lynx so relying on this thread for ideas

last year I put in survival wristband that is made from cord (Amazon)
Christmas socks
wind up torch
Costa card (big hit)
bomb bags (enjoyed these)
magic flame changer (we have small garden fires)

Stripylikeatiger · 01/10/2014 08:31

At a similar age Father Christmas brought me and my brothers condoms Blush that was the last year Father Christmas visited.

You could get some cinema vouchers, maybe a cheap novelty toy like a remote control helicopter.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/10/2014 11:32

Hawkins Bazaar had these tiny little 'bombs' called Snaps (IIRC) You throw them at a hard surface and they 'pop'

My DS will be 15 in December . He needs a razor and shaving gel (but possibly before Christmas)

Underwear - not his usual M&S black efforts, something a bit more sophisticated but not too jazzy (like The Inbetweeners "too jazzy " )

He'll be getting a Young Driver Lesson (he has 2 a year)

MicroSoft Points

A £50 note wrapped up in a nice box (he's a saver not a spender)

I'm going to look at some non-Lynx smellies but I need to be careful with his skin, it has a tendancy to dry flare ups.

And.........I'm stumped Confused,

Gaming chair maybe.
Mine doesn't do clothes unlike DD.

I did think someone would suggest to what to put in a 15yo boys stocking A 15 yo girl but none so far Wink

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 01/10/2014 11:33

^^ some of these are Present gifts not stocking gifts btw Wink

Some great ideas on here!

zipzap · 01/10/2014 16:45

Have a look on the Christmas Bargains thread in the christmas section - loads of great ideas and it's growing all the time (and already onto thread 9!). I saved loads of money through it last year and already saving this year too...

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/Christmas/2196047-Christmas-bargain-thread-9-There-is-also-a-plop-up-version

And if you look on amazon at 'cube puzzles' there are lots of rubik-like puzzles but with lots more squares on each side so much more difficult - some get really expensive but there are some pretty difficult ones for about a tenner which could prove an interesting challenge!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 01/10/2014 16:55

I always put hot chocolate mix and mini marshmallows in the dses' stockings, as ConkerTime suggests, but I add a can of squirty cream too. You have to hide them in the fridge until you fill the stockings - in the fresh veg drawer is usually a pretty safe hiding place! Grin
